What an Amazing place Largest grower of Succulent plants

Loved my visit out to Solar Gardens Succulent Greenhouse and Bistro. Had a delicious gluten free chicken salad sandwich and candied pecan, goat cheese and spinach salad! This place is beautiful and has so much potential. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is it's a bit rundown with a lot of clutter in the way in some spots. The greenhouse was very cool but tight to navigate. Wouldn't be accessible for bigger people or mobility aids.

We went for lunch today at the acreage. The location is very messy, not enough staff and a strange vibe. Would not visit again.

We had the most amazing night out here for our Christmas party. We were able to book a night of succulent planter making and making our own home made pizzas. We all loved it and had the best time. What a unique venue / store and it was so nice that we could just stay there for our entire evening. Roger was such a great teacher and host. He also kept a steady steam of deserts coming our way as well after we finished with our fabulous pizzas. What a great experience. We can’t recommend enough.

We asked Solar Gardens to procure succulents as wedding favours, and were so happy that we did! The succulents were healthy, vibrant and gorgeous. Picking them up was easy, and we were offered glitter to sprinkle on them which perfectly supplemented our theme. We received many positive guest reviews on our favours.

Just had to write a review of this funky little place in Avalon. Solar Gardens Avalon Bistro 2605 Broadway Ave in Saskatoon. This place is not like anything you would expect but its everything you didn’t know you needed. Open 11-3 daily for piping hot specialty coffees, flatbread and baguette features and soups like your Gramma would make. Chef Chad is a delight and so passionate about food. Our new fave lunch/coffee place.

Great store, lots of fresh baked goods and a huge variety of fudges and spices to choose from.
