We had a lovely first experience at Sparrow — the turkey sandwich was generous and absolutely delicious, which brought us back for a second visit. This time, we ordered a beef sandwich along with a mocha and a black coffee.
Unfortunately, we were served a beet sandwich with no beef in it at all. We didn’t raise any issue at the time, assuming perhaps the order taker had misheard us. But after finishing the meal and checking the menu on our way out, we noticed that there wasn’t even a beet sandwich listed, which left us puzzled and quite disappointed.
It was meant to be a small celebration for my husband’s road test success earlier that morning — and sadly, the mix-up took away from that joy.
We hope this was just a one-off mistake, but it definitely affected our overall experience.
Nice ambiance and lots of natural light. The experience is usually ruined by unfriendly staff. They rarely smile, and a barista recently got irritated when I asked about one of their treats. The food is average and decent.

The barista in this café is a person who makes coffee with soul. The coffee shop has an atmosphere of coziness, and every detail complements the café, especially the paintings and live! flowers with books and statuettes — very atmospheric. The only thing that could be improved is the sandwiches, I would still grill bread! and not put thick slices of pickled beetroot, and in general, beetroot is more suitable for salads and not in such sandwiches. Thank you for atmospheres!
