Appetizer choices quite limited. The house salad was thin and the dressing lacking much flavour at all. The mashed potatoes were lumpy, and the vegetables bland. The portions were small and the dessert sliver of cake made us laugh. Overpriced food in a drab old building.
We love coming to Saint Tropez Bistro for a quiet dinner, and enjoying and supporting local cuisine. The spinach balls are a fantastic appetizer as are the croquettes. The fish and lamb chop mains were simply delicious and done perfectly. Would highly recommend visiting this little gem of a restaurant in our beautiful city. Well done!
My wife and I had an amazing date night at St Tropez Bistro. As we are not from Saskatoon we were intrigued that the place had been open for 46 years and figured they had to be doing something right. The dimly lit dining room featuring early 20th century jazz sounds transported us down South to a familiar world of fine dining. The mushroom tartines were our favorite bite but the pickerel was close behind. The gnocchi was our favorite taste of the night. The blue curaçao whiskey drink was an interesting take on a whiskey sour and my wife loved her aura borealis mocktail. Service was great and so was dessert.

First time experience, was outstanding and had us asking why we hadn't been there yet. Outstanding service, fantastic food. We will be back soon!
The food was really good! We went to celebrate an anniversary and had the tasting menu! Lots of reviews on the portion sizes, this restaurant is quality over quantity. The starter of spinach balls and the tartlet was excellent. The salad was great. The main course of fish and lamb was well done, and the dessert finished everything off nicely.
I love the simplicity of St Tropez - it’s traditional, with good wooden furniture, white-linen tablecloths, and simple, clean brickwork and walls with thoughtful touches. It’s clean, comfortable, and the sound volume of everything is perfect for intimate conversation and some laughs.
We had the family-style four course set meal tonight, and it had to be one of the finest offerings in town. The food and ambience is European-style, but the portions are decently sizeable. I pride myself on a good appetite, but I felt a small waddle coming on as we left.
The mushroom tart, the spinach balls, the lamb chop, the roasted veg, everything was delicious. The cocktails were beautifully mixed, aromatic, and served icy-cold. I loved the greens, the herbs, the flowers, and the vegetables that came from their rooftop garden! It’s served with two different desserts, and the honey and lavender posset is a standout. The texture is angelic, and it’s bursting with cream and honey with a fragrance of lavender. You’ll love it.
The service was wonderful. We were served by one of the owners, as well as a host who clearly enjoyed her work, and the entire vibe was friendly and hospitable with obvious pride in their product and service.
It’s not the average person’s weekday supper, but it’s the perfect place to have a chic dinner with absolutely zero pretension and 100% amazing flavours and service.

This is our new favourite date night spot! It's very classy and it makes you feel like you're tucked away somewhere in France. The staff are professional and service is excellent. We had preordered the bison tomahawk and it was well worth it, highly recommend. We will be back!
Always a wonderful meal and experience. The home grown aspect of the food is obvious and you leave satiated

Waitress was new but tried hard to please. She should cut back on her cologne. It was pleasant but overpowering to the point that it affected the taste of the meal.
Very nice server. The atmosphere is calming and quaint. Food was very good and a good sized portion, did not leave hungry!

We went for a quiet anniversary dinner and could not have had a better experience. The food was amazing, and the staff were top notch. Highly recommend it, and we'll be back!
Absolutely enjoyed dining at this special place. Stylish & peaceful seating, very professional & friendly service, talented chef w super menu. Great vegan choices, but primarily an omni French restaurant. What a gem.
