On September 27 I had a pretty memorable experience , the service was slow and full of mistakes but I put that aside and was very polite. During payment my debit card had an issue - the waitress assumed the card must be stolen and threw it away despite my hesitation and questioning of the situation - I then paid with Apple Pay and moved on. About 30 minutes later I realized the severity of her decision to throw away my only form of real payment or financial transactions as I am on a work trip.
So I returned to find a couple friends still at my original table - I was immediately intercepted by a large Caucasian manager aggressively asking me to leave. It took me a little while to realize what was happening but obviously my ethnicity being Cree Nation he assumed something negatively of me and without talking to me demanded I leave.
My WHITE friends than intercepted him in disbelief and tried arguing for me - I explained all I wanted was my debit card back. The waitress than came out and is completely disrespectful manner explained it was actually my fault that they had thrown it away and changed the garbages already.
State and Main is the first dining experience I’ve had in a long time that made me feel less of a human than my peers. They are completely racist in my opinion in Saskatoon and if your indigenous please be AWARE. Maybe save yourself the humility and embarrassment that they will provide.

First visit to State and Main. Restaurant was spacious and the booth was comfortable. Service was very friendly. Bathroom was clean. Food was expensive and arrived in ~30 minutes, which was too long to wait, but it was good.

We had a birthday celebration for 6 of us with one diner having celiac restrictions. They had a separate gluten free menu with many options to choose from. The server was excellent, the food was very good, and we all enjoyed our dining experience.

One of me & my husband's favorite spot for our day dates. Food is amazing ??, I usually get it the baja fish tacos but tried the honey glazed Cajun chicken today with mashed potatoes and asparagus & omg I ate every bite! It was delicious ✨️??.

Young, fun atmosphere, lots of tvs, food was excellent! Highly recommend the enchiladas and the pistachio crusted salmon and the main st mocha pie or cheescake for dessert! Would go back again tomorrow if we weren't heading out of town!

There was a very large group in there that was so loud we couldn't hear one another talk at the table. It wouldn't have been so bad if the music wasn't so loud. I wouldn't recommend going there if you want to have a conversation with someone. The food was excellent.

Had a steak, was cooked as requested and a good cut of meat. Overall the plate was great. Service was a bit lacking but it was late at night. I would suggest and will be back again.

We are in town visiting family for two weeks and searched for a restaurant on Google and this was the first place that popped up so we decided to give it a try. This was the best dining experience we have had in a long time. All the food from apps to desert was awesome. Highly recommended and would dine here again.
We just went for dine in yesterday and it was the first time we went to state and main Suchh aaa WORST EXPERIENCE!!!!!!! We were told that our server is busyy with another group so she will be here soon…Nobody came for another 15 minutes then one lady just ask that she is still busy if she can get us drinks, I ask for 2 pepsi or coke then NO SERVER LIKE LITERALLY NOOO SERVER AT ALL!!!! appears for half an hour… then she came again and askk OHHH!! She is Stilll busy ..Can I get something to eat for you, I ordered one appetizer.. WE FINISH IT!!!! Wait for ANOTHER HOUR !!! NO SERVER AT ALL AGAIN?????? NO body even ask that if we want order food or anything..NOTHING!!!!!! After sitting there for almost an Hour and half another server just came and said your server just left and she told me to take your rest of the order. AM LIKE SERIOUSLY!!! Did We actually got any SERVER????? because nobody just came to us. She said yeah because she didn’t want to work today but she had to?? SO WHAT??? IS THAT OUR FAULT???? WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AT The end i just paid for our appetizer and left..!! OH YEAH!! They gave me discount on pepsi LOL..!! WORST SERVICE!!!
