Way too dark in there. Also your TVs need to the brightness turns up I could not even see the Jays game. Ate the beef dip. Bun was dry, meat was dry and no cheese or onions. Terrible

This three stars review is to mention some areas of growth. It is a well located restaurant Downtown, the service was okay, however there was only one server helping all tables. Food was okay, I ordered a chicken sandwich with avocado, but the avocado wasn't ripe enough. They have lots of potential to work to be a top restaurant, but need to work on it.

Paid 6.50 extra for chicken breast with my salad and there was literally 2oz of chicken. For reference, a breast is typically 4-6oz. I called the restaurant and since it was a pick up, they couldn't do anything in that moment but didn't offer to do anything for me next time I came in either. $27 salad should have a decent portion of chicken, js.
***Update Almost immediately after posting this review, I was contacted by customer service as well as the manager of the restaurant. Excellent customer service, it's so nice to see these days. Definitely will be going back. Thank goodness because the food is delicious!

Very good service and the quality of food is fantastic. I find the prices to be higher than other similar restaurants, however, this may be due to the prime location of downtown and close to the river.

Salad was delightful, and the service was exceptional. Very impressed for a small spot in Saskatoon. If you come, ask to sit in Kierra 's section, she is a star!!!

This was our second time at State and Main it was very busy when we got there for our reservation. I was expecting to wait for a while but before we knew it we had our order taken and got our drinks right away. A short time later the food arrived it looked and tasted amazing cooked to perfection A shout out to all the staff they do an incredible job in a timely manner

Before going to a play at Persephone Theatre, My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at State and Main, where I particularly enjoyed the food paired with a refreshing beer. The service was excellent, and despite the place being packed, it did not affect the waiting time for our meal. The staff were attentive and efficient, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend State and Main for its great service and delightful food.

Great food, and our server Sarah was an absolute delight, so kind and just overall an absolute joy. I’m happy to say that State and Main has exceeded my expectations the second time around. Can’t wait to come back again! Great job!!
Old review: Had to give 2 stars because the service was SO TERRIBLE! The food was amazing, but our server took our order and that’s it. The next time we saw her was when it was time to pay. Didn’t get checked up on even once. I LOVE this restaurant, and it was my favourite in the city… but after the service I received, my mind had changed.

Went to State and Main in downtown Saskatoon for my birthday supper... there were 12 of us. Our server's name.was Sarah. She was fabulous. The food.... was sooooo good!! We had appies - bang bang shrimp, calamari and pretzel bites. The shrimp was juicy, well cooked and so flavourful. The calamari was mixed with rings and tentacles (tentacles are my fave), jalapeños and other peppers. They were incredible!! And the pretzel bites were sharp and pointy and came with a delicious cheese sauce. Omg i would go there just for the appies!! The drinks we had were also very delicious! I had a caeser which came with a snack skewer that was yummy, then the frozen pink lemonade came and it was out of this world delicious. So good that I didn't mind the multiple brain freezes from sipping too fast. The sunshine something slushie drink was also super tasty! Our mains were very good as well. I had the shrimp and truffle rigatoni, others had steaks, fish tacos, chicken tenders, beef dip and teriyaki bowl as well as caeser salads, soup etc. I told Sarah several times to let the kitchen know that the food was sooo good. Overall, the atmosphere, service and food was a 12/10. Highly recommend.

Nice lively place. First time there although won't rush back, Margherita flatbread was tasty, then had the grilled cheese burger whick was cold along with the fries. Not really a fan of paying for cold food but you live n learn.
