Ordered takeout from Uber eats and what a disaster and waste of money it was. Ordered the grilled fish in chili oil and they gave it in a paper bag that got soggy and all the chili oil leaked. I mean anyone with a human brain wouldn’t put it on a paper bag. Don’t know what’s wrong with the restaurant.

Been here twice. Some dishes were absolutely amazing and some others were terrible. The menu should be made based on what dishes the chef is good at, not what it currently is.

Visited Summer Palace on Taylor St. during posted business hours. The sign said OPEN and the posted hours say they are open until 8:30 PM. I arrived around 4:30 PM.
When I walked in, the staff member at the counter immediately looked at me with a hostile expression and did not greet or acknowledge me. When I tried to speak to him, he refused to engage, frowned, and told me they were ‘closed at 5:30,’ which contradicts their posted hours. There were no signs indicating early closure, and the restaurant did not appear to be shutting down.
He continued to dismiss me and made it clear he did not want to serve me. This was extremely unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome. I left without being served.
Based on the posted hours and the way I was treated, this was unacceptable service. I will not be returning.

We ordered takeout and the menu has been redone and the restaurant must be under new management. The food was excellent. Anyone looking for authentic Chinese with great levels of spice and heat, this is the place! I highly recommend it!
