Just came back to Saskatoon after many years away, sooo excited this was still open, always had the best chai gao and vermicelli and couldn’t wait to have it again. Super friendly on the phone but honestly when the food arrived, so, sooo disappointing!!!! Can’t even explain to what degree. Chai gao was a pork sausage wrapped in really crappy pastry, not at all chai gao. Vermicelli and fish sauce are as a really bad imitation. Not to mention a one of the chicken vermicelli dishes had 4 shrimp in and the person eating this has an extreme allergy.Just can’t even say how bad this was, everything went into the garbage.Could be less than 1 star if that was even possible.

If we could give less stars, we would. Nothing but a filthy greasy spoon dive. We ate there Wed of last week and after spending well over $150 for 5 people, I am disgusted we chose such a horrible diner! The waitress was a nasty little witch who played on her phone the whole time she wasn't snarling at some poor soul who dared ask to order. It was 8:12pm yet she was making remarks to these people about how she wants to close early so we tried to eat quickly as to not further upset her. The food was tasteless and greasy and overpriced for the tiny servings.Ps. A lot of fake reviews here, for example, the" young couple" who claim to be food critics from Regina are frauds as they cannot even spell basic words. They would not be hired being so inarticulate. This is NOT HOW FOOD CRITICS OPERATE. TRUST ME.AVOID THIS DUMP OR BE READY TO DUMP***MONEY FOR NOTHING AND GREASY PORK AIN'T FREE.***

Ordered from here a few times. Tonight, it was like I didn't! The shrimp, egg rolls, and chicken balls were so hard, they were barely edible. I took close up pics so you can see the hard edges. You cant even identify the shrimp as being shrimp!! I called the restaurant and the boss offered me 20% (@$15) off next time, she wouldn't even come to the phone! We ordered 7 dishes and 3 were disgusting...I expected 50%...there won't be a 'next time'

We ordered online and were pleasantly surprised with the meal. It arrived fresh, hot and delicious. We had ginger beef, Cantonese chow main, spring rolls, and veggies and rice. The veggies tasted fresh and were crisp, ginger beef was crispy and saucy (not doughy, soggy or chewy). The sauces were all excellent! Thank you SC!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options available here.

Honey garlic ribs were really odd. SUPER sweet, like unbearable and had 0 garlic flavor and tasted a lot like peanuts. They're fried dumplings seemed under cooked, very unevenly fried and the flavor was also weird. Very peppery and that was it. Didn't have that traditional flavor. They also gave me some weird nasty gravy with beans when All I wanted was fish sauce. Didn't even get the fish sauce.

I’ll start by saying we ordered from here a few months ago, we tried the deluxe wonton soup and the fried wontons. The soup was awful (not sure what’s in it but something was so overpowering that it completely ruined it) but the wontons were awesome. We weren’t planning to ever order again but I wanted the wontons again and other people said good things about the food there. We ordered $100 worth of delivery last night. I have to say, for the price and quality of the food, it was not worth it.Deep fried wontons - these are awesome but they could have a little more filling in them. You are eating 3 quarters wonton paper lol like I mean the filling isn’t even the size of a red grape. The flavour and the dip with it is very good though.Chicken balls - decent flavour but they’re quite small and there were hardly any in our order compared to the amount that most restaurants give.Deep fried shrimp - we were very happy with the size of the shrimp, quite large but the breading was really doughy and gooey. Had to pull most of it off.Vietnamese spring roll - I had a feeling they wouldn’t be any good because I saw that they only have beef, most places use pork, but we tried it anyway. They were terrible. So greasy, and the beef filling was not good at all. To top it off, the fish sauce was horrible!!! So bland, didn’t taste right.Ginger beef - was okay but not as good as everywhere else in the city, portion was way smaller. (There was only 2 of us and let’s just say there’s barely enough leftovers for one person).Koo loo pork - also smaller portion than everywhere else. Hardly any leftovers (and I only had like 4 pieces on my plate). Chef Express downtown has way better Koo Loo Pork and gives a full container.Szechuan chow mein - decent flavour, but very greasy, and hardly any meat/veggies compared to most places. It only came with 3 shrimp, and I think 3 mushrooms. The chicken pieces were so tiny. They had a very old man deliver it, he could barely hear anything we were saying and I felt so bad for him that I gave him a $10 tip, even though we’re only a block away so he didn’t drive far, but based on the food portions I probably wouldn’t have tipped at all. I was debating between 2 or 3 stars but I’ll give 3 because I really like the deep fried wontons, it’s not something you can get everywhere, and the flavour of most of the dishes was decent so we were still able to enjoy our food for the most part. There’s just not really anything left for leftovers after spending $100, like the leftovers you’d have from most places. If I ever order again it’ll probably just be the fried wontons and that’s it.

We have been ordering from shezwan for over 20 years. Today we received chicken balls the size of a quarter. When I called they said this is the new size. FYI before you order because you will not get anything like a chicken ball and no one interested in customer satisfaction. Very

Worst noodle bowl I've ever had worst service too. Food was sitting on the counter for 20 minutes while the lady helped other people. The chicken noodle bowl had about a quarter of a chicken breast in it. Over priced. Forst time there and will absolutely be the last.
