I am sure the chef changed , or if not they are fooling customers. Worst curry i received today. I ordered chef special malabar chicken curry and they gave me some thing based like north Indian dish . Worst.

The paneer in the paneer butter masala was uncooked. The whole thing just tasted funny, like everything was just thrown together. The garlic naan had no garlic flavour. Would not recommend this restaurant, and will not be back.

Whenever I visit Saskatoon, I always make a stop at Tamarind for its masala dosa and shahi paneer. I have never been disappointed with the service or food. It always tastes the same as it did the first time.

Horrible food. I don’t know if chef changed. Earlier also, it wasn’t that great but, now it’s worse. We ordered lamb biriyani and beef roast and it was the worst thing we ordered so far. I think the chef doesn’t even know what beef roast tastes like. How can a chef make such pathetic food and how is this place still surviving without serving any authentic food!!

First time trying from the Saskatoon location, Vishu Sadhya was good.
Worst biriyani I’ve ever tried in my life! It was taste like chicken curry with rice. There’s wasn’t any flavor in the biriyani. Chicken was taste old and fried, then they just add some gravy and rice into it that’s it biriyani! That was so disappointed restaurant was empty not busy there was two table of people with me. It was Saturday 8 at night I was craving biriyani then I choose tamarind might be the best option, but it was worst. I been to tamarind before I tried some curries and nan with my friends food was so good. But that time was so worst. I’ll never visit again. Worst Indian food in the city specially biriyani.

When in 2024 a Sask. woman was turned away from this restaurant due to guide dog and then the restaurant management apologizes, you expect the customer service to have improved. Fast forward to 2025,guess what ? Their customer service is still ignorant and lacking basic respect towards customers.
I am (was now) a regular customer here for last 2 years. The other day my family and I went there. However, before arriving, we phoned ahead, placed our order (for dine in) and gave the exact time of our arrival. We did arrive on time. However, when the food came, 2 of the items were not cooked well. On my way out, I saw the chef and gave my feedback on the half cooked items. He very casually and rather promptly replied "because you were in a hurry". I was stunned with that response. A few days later I tried calling the owners in regina, expecting then to hear me out. They weren't available, I left a message. They got my message, never called me. The next day I get a call from the saskatoon restaurant, from the server, who said, she is sorry, chef is also sorry. I said, but the chef never spoke to me. She said, the chef said sorry to her. Then lastly she said, when you come next time, we will give you free food. Customer service is dying a slow death in this business, and they haven't learnt their lesson.
