We arrived for our 5:30 reservation. Our food came to our table at 7pm.. some food. 3 orders came 15 minutes later. Totally unacceptable. The place was full. Not our fault. Our server kept saying, we're doing our best. We had to ask for buns while seeing other patrons who arrived after us, eat their meals and leave. We won't take a chance again. They should be prepared for Friday night crowds. Our waitress was old and snippy.

Unique atmosphere. Family dined out here. Kids milks are $4.50/ea (!). Food is okay, but essentially pub food. Service took 40 min from time of order to plate.
It was my mom's 78th birthday and myself ( her daughter) and her 2 grandkids and ex son inlaw wanted to treat her to a special night. Our server was beyond amazing. She was so patient and knowledgble. The steaks were by far the best I have had anywhere ( except home) and the variety of beverages impressive. Over all this was one of the best dining expreiences I have had in a very long time. Thanks for making mom's night one to remember.

Overpriced, unimpressive food. I thought the poutine could have been prepackaged McCain fries. bacon wrapped scallops were tiny - 18$ for 6 pieces the size the end of my index finger. orzo soup was watery, really not good. Steak was actually decent, but really everything was worse than a person can make at home other than that.
Food was low quality, and over priced. Had a Salisbury steak and chicken cordon blue. The gravy was good on the Salisbury steak but other than that, not good, it was tough, which is a first. The chicken cordon blue was over floured to gumminess, the vegetables were musty, and both meals were luke warm. Sad after hearing good things about this place, was our first time, so may be an off night or new cook? But hard to go back after those meals.

We had a great time at The Cave! The atmosphere was cozy and unique - the restaurant fully justifies its name. Our waiter Volodymyr was simply wonderful: friendly, attentive, helped us with the choice of dishes and made sure that everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We will recommend it to friends and come again.

Had reservation at 6 pm.Saturday for 4. Short wait for seating - said they were preparing a table but saw the table we were getting and it had been empty. Seemed disorganized. The pizza was delicious but we waited almost an hour to get it. Our server was running like crazy carrying large trays of drinks and food. We wondered if there was only one person cooking and servers were short staffed
Will not dine in again but perhaps order pizza takeout. Almost 2 hours is too long in this style of restaurant.

I would give zero stars if it was an option. This place has gone soo downhill. We ordered take out salad and dry ribs 75 minutes nothing called they lost our order. They offered for us to wait longer for our order. Zero customer service!!! called back and cancelled. Didn't offer discount nothing. Had we not called we'd still be waiting for food because they are busy. Terrible service at this place now.
We decided to have our anniversary dinner at the Cave on Oct 24th and, we are so glad we did! Our server - I wish I could remember her name - had a absolute feel for us and our sense of humor that she made our evening an absolute joy, please don't ever let her retire!!! Our food was delicious, served hot and in a very timely manner. She even surprised us with a ice cream dessert with a candle for our anniversary. Thank you so very much!! We will certainly be back!!

We went to the cave tonight and Jadyn
was our server. Her service was completely horrible and the way she talked to other servers was appalling. The food was delicious as always, but her service honestly ruined the night for us. We will of course be back for the food but definitely will ask to not be served by her. I hope a manager can have a good talk to her about her service and the way she bosses others around.

We took our grandson, his partner & our 5 year old great grandson to The Cave for supper last night. We know our great grandson would love the atmosphere.
Our service was absolutely top notch.
The food definitely could have been better.

Nice environment
We did not reserve beforehand, but didn’t wait long for our party to be seated; our server was very attentive to our needs making our experience enjoyable; the food was enjoyed by everyone in our group which means the kitchen deserves kudos to a job well done; thank you to The Cave Restaurant for keeping on…you did not disappoint!

Birthday meal. Lasagna was enjoyably cheesy. Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly and had excellent taste. The soup and salad starters were good. Slight wait for main courses. No birthday drink or dessert.
