We were celebrating our son's birthday and we were all really hungry, so when our bread arrived we were happy and satiated. Our server was very friendly and personable and took care of us in a highly efficient manner. Our drinks, appetizers, and meals arrived in a timely manner, even though the restaurant was quite busy for a Sunday. It was another wonderful dining experience for our family and this is why we keep coming back for the excellent service, personable atmosphere, and fabulous food. Thank you to The Keg Brighton for a pleasant evening.

Always good service and great food. Not to loud in the lounge and perfect to watch the game.

The braised short ribs were NOT a good value. This was as tough a piece of beef as I've ever experienced. Left 75% on the plate. Our server should have picked up on this, but never did. Obviously, this was a combination of poor quality beef and a preparation that left much to be desired. Very unfortunate as this Keg location has been a "go to" for us.

We've been to The Keg a number of times over the years, this time to celebrate my wife's birthday. We ordered the escargot and wedge salad for appetizers. The escargot was quite disappointing and tasted off. The wedge salad had week old bacon and the dill dressing was unimpressive. My wife asked if the salmon was wild or farmed and she was quite disappointed to learn it was farmed - not on par with a high end restaurant, so she decided on a steak instead. My strip loin (one of their signature steaks) was well seasoned and grilled to my liking but had WAY too much trim, likely 15-20%. My wife's steak was done to her liking with very little trim. The Keg was always known for their Caesar, mine I ordered virgin and it tasted like plain Clamato with a pickled bean and a celery stick garnish. Not much flavour or creativity for $8. The best part of the meal was the company, although we both enjoyed the Billy Miner Pie for dessert. I was going to reserve a table at Carvers and I wish I did. I don't typically give reviews unless it was spectacular or very disappointing - I'm sure you gather which one this was.

We love the Keg; we dine regularly and always have a great experience, but tonight was not a representation of their usual performance. The restaurant was not busy so this was no excuse. I asked what brands of gin were offered and for someone who's worked there for 8 years, she could only list one. My husband's meal was lukewarm and the beef was quite fatty. Our server was friendly but was tardy with everything - steak knives, no water refills (until we asked for the bill), we were over half done our meals before she stuck her head by us and asked how it was leaving little to no opportunity to say something. Our empty plates sat in front of us for way too long. We were interested in dessert but a table of two over served, extremely loud drunk and disruptive women ruined the vibe so we put our coats on and had to request the bill. Very unfortunate dining experience.

We enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner at The Keg last night. It was amazingly delicious! Almost as good as homemade. This might become our new Thanksgiving tradition!

Our waitress Nicole was efficient, friendly, and very prompt. She checked back with us numerous times to make sure everything was perfect!

The entire evening was spectacular. The service was impeccable and the food was excellent as usual. Never been disappointed with anything. Want an evening worth remembering, then hit the Keg!

We had a large party with 3 children under 2. We had enough room for the high chairs and still comfortable for the adults. Our server was excellent, prompt with drinks, appys, and mains. Everything was spot on which is why we will continue to visit especially on special occasions

Unbelievable meal accompanied by sensational waiter service from Brett!! Can't wait to go back with the family!

Dined in the lounge last night. Great cocktails, great server with good recommendations and really nice atmosphere. The keg never disappoints. Wish I'd had room for dessert!

The restaurant is beautiful but a little too dark and crowded for a group to socialize. Would be nice to have larger booths for up to six, the walls might cut down on the noise and make conversation a little easier. Three of five steaks were cooked to perfection but the other two were off by quite a bit. The flavour was on point though and all of the sides were delicious. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the Agua Fresca - it tasted like fresh grass. To each their own, but it was not what we expected. The service was just okay for the most part, until the bill came and then he finally smiled and showed a bit of personality. I'd return if we had a gift card but wouldn't make a point of making it a regular place for steak or group dinners.

My family love the the experience at The Key. They gave us ice cream cake for my husband and son's birthday and ice cream for my daugther.
