Food was tasty and value for the $$$.
Atmosphere is typical for restaurants of this type, nothing special.
Service was on the slower side, but we did get exactly what we asked for when the server came around.
Will defo order take out from here :)
This owner is a wage thief as he stole overtime money one of his employee and also tips money as well. We are going to contact local organizations to help us to recover the tip money of my friend. I am going to contact local organizations to come forward and protest in front of the restaurant so he can that money and also learn a lesson not to steal anyone’s hard earned money.
This used to be my all-time favorite restaurant in Saskatoon. However, I just can't justify spending money here any more due to the crazy price hike for the daily specials.
I actually liked getting take-out from here because it was affordable, but my regular order of two noodle bowls (special #1) last night was $22.10 when not even a couple weeks ago it would've been $15.54. I was also charged extra to substitute the meat I wanted, which I was previously told by staff that I could change at no extra charge. So not only are the specials more expensive, you'll be charged even more if you simply want different meat at this point.
I don't think I'll ever get food here again if the prices are going to be this expensive for the daily specials, as I doubt that price is ever coming back down again.
I like Thien's food. They treat guests with delicious meals, good service, and reasonable price. Also, the interior is awesome 😄 You won't be disappointed if you go there
I ordered cold coffee ,paid $4.75 plus taxes with 90% full of Ice and had no taste at all
I brought it to the attention to the young fellow at counter ,all I got was a meek sorry. I am highly disappointed with my visit. I dine here at least 3-4 a year for last 10 years ordered cold coffee first time.
Sad experience
The prices are 30-50% higher than advertised on the website.. which already isn't cheap to begin with.. not worth it anymore. portions are smaller too
I’ve never come to the actual restaurant always order but I’m currently at home from university for the summer craving some of this food: it’s so good.
The order: beef sate rice noodle soup and deep fried shrimp
Portions are great and good is amazing ugh so ready to get more in the fall
not good here everything here and all low quality food not good at all seem they care about making more money making food cheaper but they don't make good quality food anymore like one in downtown that owned better very good back in 90's or later before the big boom of thein Vietnam restaurants everywhere in Saskatoon can't find out there is ones better then them in the city.

You guys have always had awesome food but you guys need to get this kid a new debt/credit card machine. This guy said he had to spam press the machine 50~60 times before the machine wakes up. I waited 5m before I said I will pull out cash at the ATM and paid him. Good thing I was at work and there was a ATM in the same building that I work at.

I was enjoying some noodles at home today and found two long hairs in the dish. I thought maybe my mom was secretly mad at me but didn’t say anything. That’s when a traumatic flashback hit me — five years ago, my Vietnamese friend took me to this fine establishment, and guess what? Yep, found a couple of bonus hairs in my noodles back then too. I didn’t complain at the time because, you know, free meal and all, but I definitely threw up when I got home.
Five years later, the horror is still fresh in my mind. This one-star review has been marinating for half a decade, but hey, better late than never. Still recovering from the hairstyle special I never asked for. Thanks for the memories!
