I had the opportunity to explore this Tim Hortons location when I was in the area after an appointment. This location was set up nicely if there was a lineup at a busy time. It also felt large and like one of the bigger ones I’ve been in. There were also lots of tables to sit at as well as a small area at the back with a fireplace that looked like it wasn’t working. It was not too busy at the time we were here thankfully because I hate trying to read the menu boards up high and are flipping every couple of seconds. That is hard for most people to read but even harder for people with disabilities and especially visual issues.

Awful Experience at Tim Hortons

I had the most disappointing visit to Tim Hortons third time in drive through. I just wanted to change the order when I was going to order an item and I have changed it when I was ordering it. When I went to the window they were saying you cannot change the item you said on the first time if I have already confirmed the order and went to the window and then I requested to change it then we can understand but, what is this kind of attitude I got on the window and they have said that we cannot heat a donut but every other Timmis does in whole Saskatoon. Really bad experience happened three times. I ordered 5 items and they gave me just 2 napkins I have requested more but seems like they didn’t like the request.

It’s disappointing to see such a well-known chain fall so far below expectations. I will not be returning anytime soon and won’t be recommending it to anyone. Completely unprofessional and unsatisfactory all around.

Raves Rants

Normally, a single employee can make a location great or terrible.

Right now, we're stuck to being rushed through, zero personality at the window, and on top of that the generic "good bye" or "good day" comes across more annoyed, disingenuous and the implication screams "I'm not a morning person". It's not what the employee says, it's how they say it. Not everyone is like this but it's becoming very common among staff.

Now, with that said, you guys had a rising star here.

Emiliano is a great employee and represents the service industry well.

I used to work at a Tim Hortons before 3G Capital and after Tim Hortons became the Brazilian company it is today. It was my goal, regardless of change, to be hospitable, personable, timely, accurate and consistent for the customer. Seeing so few people exemplifying this leaves me desiring more from this business; however, Emi has been one of those rare individuals who has demonstrated everything I valued and with that attitude and mindset he will go far in life.

Huge shout out to him.

Staff were friendly, but I received a salad instead of the wrap I paid for. Not what I ordered, and seemingly a proper salad but that was not a fun surprise to find in the bag when I opened it up on the outskirts of town.

This js the only time hortons on my way to work everyday and most of the times they give wrong food and drinks. The worst part is they never pack the sandwich in bags they just hand over the sandwich to you.

It happened when i visited yesterday, This is the noisiest Tim Hortons. The staff is always talking and chatting with each other. Can they just focus on their work? Especially when they are preparing food and drinks—they might splash their saliva.

Their decaf machine has not been working for over a week now. Every time I ask, they say oh it is a weekend that’s why no one can repair it, I ask during the business day, they say oh the manager should know when it will be repaired. I have now to change my coffee shop location for a decaf working machine or use Starbucks instead. I am 8 months pregnant and decaf is the only way to go unfortunately….

This is a great location and for the most part they serve great food/drinks in the mornings. I have however noticed that over the past week or two the steeped tea I have bought in the evening/night is usually stale and very bitter tasting.

The morning staff do a great job however! It will be nice to have some consistency across board regardless of the time of the day.
