Umi Sushi Express

Absolutely disgusting and outright fraudulent.
The portion of pork was laughably tiny—like paper-smaller than a coin—nothing like the thick, generous slices shown in all the posters and photos. This isn’t ramen, it’s literally instant noodles in hot water with a few sad scallions on top. Total scam. Save your money and go anywhere else. Feels like I just got robbed by a fraud group pretending to be a restaurant. Never coming back.

I ordered a Tonkatsu ramen and honestly…it looked depressing and the taste was also bad. The egg is not soft-boiled, not much flavour in the soup, the pork was not tendered, and for some reason they put those seaweed into the ramen which was meant to be cold served. This ramen doesn’t even worth $5 while it was $14. Never going back to this place anymore.

Surprisingly it was pretty good sushi and price. Better than a lot of sushi places I've been to in Saskatoon.

The tonkatsu ramen was the least authentic I've ever had, the "tonkatsu" was just bacon and the broth was way too salty.

Picked up a combo today and the rice is Mush not one whole intact grain of rice and no flavor in the rice nor rwv or sesame oil nothing just blahhhh so disappointing co-op sushi is better and umi was always a favorite and a treat not any more

When I first walked up I had to wait cause the lady was texting on her cell phone. She did not wear a mask at all while making my drink. When I asked her to put it on she ignored me so her coworker repeated what I said. She put on a mask but proceeded to laugh wirth her coworkers about the mask rules. Will not be going back

Great food! I was pleasantly surprised with how fresh and delicious my meal was.

Staff was too busy talking to bother serving customers. Maybe they should put a bell on the counter.
