UNA pizza + wine Saskatoon

Always a great choice. Kale salad is delicious and my wife and I never stray too far from our favourites - Tiki and Local. 10/10 never a doubt it's going to be great.

Forgot how good the food was. Quite spectacular. Very much enjoyed it. Even better with the pervasive Costco Coupon / gift card to save a bit. We'll be back soon!!

Our server was absolutely amazing. We haven't had this good of a server in a very long time. It was really nice outing for my husband‘s birthday and we absolutely appreciated her service. We love UNA and will always come back :)

Made reservation on Open table and was asked for additional preferences and we asked for patio.
Once we arrived, we were told we couldn't sit on the patio.
We're seated inside and given menus.
Asked if we'd like a drink. Got some wine samples and chose what we liked.
Waited for 15 minutes for our server to come and get actual drink order.
Then waited 10 more minutes and was only brought one of our glasses of wine. They had run out of that wine for the second glass.
Figured we'd order everything due to service being slow. Asked for a pizza and gnocchi.
Server came back and said they were out of gnocchi.
Wanted another glass of a different wine.
Server came back, said they were all out of that one too.

A bit disappointed to say the least. And our poor server was more and more embarrassed everytime she had to tell us they ran out/had none left of what we ordered.

A local waitress recommended this pizza place and it did not disappoint. Generally I keep low expectations for pizza joints but when the pizza is good, the green salad is excellent and the service top notch, it deserves a great review and a shout out.

EDIT: finally had the chance to go back to UNA and we had a fabulous time. The pizza and arancini are great, as is the sangria.

OLD: Disappointing service. Booked a reservation and when we arrived, we were told that they had no pizza dough left but were still serving other food. The group of us were fine with that, as we planned to primarily order drinks and some appetizers. Before all of us could arrive, we were told that they closed the kitchen and won’t be serving drinks anymore, right as their happy hour started (and what we all came for)!

We came here after leaving Prairie Sun brewing dissatisfied. What a difference! Great welcoming service, yummmy food and a wonderful, warm and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Overall, this is a great place to eat, and I usually enjoy my visits. I typically order the spicy margherita pizza, but during my last visit, the regular margherita was served instead. Unfortunately, our server didn’t check back with us, so I wasn’t able to mention it. I do have to say, the caramel pot de crème is absolutely delicious and one of my favorites here. While I’ve had many positive experiences, this particular visit fell short of my usual expectations.

For $25 a pizza I just expected it to be better. Pizza had clumps of oil, crusts were burnt black, and barely any pepperoni.

Service was eh. Server took at least 10 minutes to even greet our table, and was dressed in joggers and a pink shirt compared to the other servers who were dressed professionally.

Also ordered the Italian soda, and would’ve appreciated to know that it was in a can and therefore would not have paid $7 for it.

Won’t go back, wasn’t a horrible, terrible experience but also wasn’t great.

Came here for a private event. Food was decent but nothing too special. Expected more. Had kale salad, bread balls, chicken bites and 4 types of pizza. Wasn't overly impressed by any of it. Kale salad and bread balls were the best part. Didn't enjoy any of the pizza really. Chicken was good. Service is n/a because of being a private event. Atmosphere was industrial. It was clean and seemed like a nice place. Pretty crowded in our private room but that could not be their problem. Bathrooms were nice, looked to be lots of space in main area, kitchen is very open to public to see which I like. Overall just wasn't very impressed. It was fine but not great. Food wasn't great.
