The Worst Experience I have ever had in a long time and it's sad as it used to be a great place...the food was subpar however the worst of all was the grumpy older lady who was serving us, can truly tell she didn't want to even be there, it's for sale and what a prime location it could truly be if it was actually run with a little more pride and appreciation for the business it could be...sure truly hope it gets better or at the very least gets bought and run by someone who still has the passion for the job.

Am glad this restaurant is for sale because I hope the new owners are kind and courteous with lovely staff. The server there, rude doesn't even cover it. Don't like your job then leave. If you're the owner am glad you are selling. As per other reviews the female server we had should not work in service. Walked in to a miserable face. Asked us what drinks we wanted and I politely asked what juice they had to be met with "Go look in the fridge yourself. There are about 6 different ones and I'm not remembering them all" Then another couple walked in and asked "Can we sit in the corner" to be met by her with the rudest & loudest sigh because heaven forbid she had to wipe the table down! Awful experience and the food has gone down hill since we went a few years ago! Never again until this is bought out.

Waitress Lorna was awesome. Great sense of humour. She was fast and efficient. Food was hot, and very tasty! The brownie dessert was large with lots of whip cream! Delicious!
I hope to be back next year from Ontario to enjoy another meal at the Lark!

It is a busy place so be prepared to wait if you go at noon. The desserts are amazing.

You’re classic small town restaurant. Little bit of everything on the menu, we had lemon chicken soup which was great! Chicken wrap with fries! Very generous portions! Service could’ve been nicer.

The food was great, tasted great and good good-sized portions. The service on the other hand was not great no one was smiling they looked annoyed when we asked for take-out boxes.

Not allergen friendly - avoid this place if you will have any questions about the ingredients. I asked the waitress if she could check with the kitchen to find out if there are any dairy products in the dry ribs and her response was "Do you expect me to go into the freezer and read the box?". Yes, I do. It's your job.

Awful service. Waitress was completely unhelpful and rude because 2 members of our group have food allergies. She was unwilling to ask the kitchen about ingredients, so we had to leave without ordering anything.

First time to the restaurant as we are camping next door in the park. The food was good and reasonably priced.
