we have been coming to the clubhouse for years, and genuinely really enjoyed most experiences. unfortunately this weekend we have had less than great experiences. we came for a rib night special - asked the server what came with it. they only said “salad bar”. confirmed it was just ribs and salad so we chose another option. turns out other tables ordered the special and it came with many side item options and looked great! very disappointing to have inquired, and confirmed about an item and told something entirely different (we came specifically for the rib night special, called ahead first). we decided to try breakfast, called ahead and was told there was buffet. we confirmed, asked should we call again to make sure. told no it will start at 9am for sure. of course we arrive and there is no breakfast buffet, meanwhile we are currently waiting over 30 min (and counting) for our two breakfasts. very disappointing encounters with staff this go around.

We ate here the evening of July 11/24. We loved the ambience and the architecture. The food on the other hand was sadly disappointing! Especially for the prices! I had the roast beef special which was over cooked and clearly sat under a warming light for hours as it was tough and chewy. The other’s in my party had the fish special which was really lack luster in both flavour and appearance. The waiter was a friendly young man who did his best but was clearly run off his feet as they appeared short staffed. They could have done so much better. I would not recommend. I’m sure you could get better food in town.

We came here to experience the ambience, which is mildly interesting for the view, the history and architecture. Unfortunately this venue seems like a missed opportunity for finer dining, it’s essentially a pub. The food is deeply disappointing, essentially a step above a cafeteria and way overpriced. Pity! The staff were very friendly and welcoming despite being understaffed. Great place to drink beer.

Really not good, don't bother driving uphill for it. I used to be in charge and seems they have let go of of food standards since then. If you're golfing, sure. But do not make the mistake of expecting they will remember a repeat customer. In. Out. Bye. If you must.

We went in for breakfast this morning and out experience was subpar. We chose where we sat and it was a brief wait for the server to get to our table which was nice. We ordered our drinks, then our mains. I got the traditional breakfast and my partner got the eggs Benedict. The food came out quickly which was nice. However the server forgot to bring our cutlery, which was minor. However, after examining my plate I noticed that my toast was a little burnt and the portion size for the hashbrowns was disappointing for the price. As well one of my sausages were burnt and almost inedible. The server didn’t come back to check on us until both our plates were almost empty and I had to ask for jam for my toast. Overall the food was good but slightly disappointing and service was about the same.

We had a FANTASTIC dinner the other night at Stanley’s. The steaks were tender and cooked exactly the way we ordered them. The chef also went over the top to customize a meal for me to accommodate my diet. The food was served to our table very quickly and very hot.Amanda our server was very sweet and personable.We will definitely be dining here again!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Please don’t waste your money. Eat somewhere in town. We were there at 1:30. Server was very sweet. Food not so much!! Only meal that was finished was my husband’s Rueben sandwich. My beef dip was inedible. The bun was not baked thoroughly, making it gooey and gummy. The beef was plentiful and so salty after 3 bites I gave up and just ate French fries, which were good. My mum had the day’s special. The broccoli/cheese soup had the consistency of pudding and was room temp. The ham and cheese sandwich was made with wonder bread, square ham slice and a square of processed cheese….$65 later, we were NOT happy campers.
