Came for a Father’s Day Supper. My husband had the buffet. They were not taking any orders which is completely understandable but they were taking takeout orders. I ordered a large plain wonton soup to go. My soup was brought to the table so we paid and left. When we got home, I seen the soup had shrimp in it. I have a shrimp allergy which is why I ordered plain wonton soup. I order plain wonton soup from them at least once a month. I called back hoping to have the problem easily resolved. Instead, the cook yelled at me saying I ordered war wonton soup which I did not. It was a young lady who took my order. She said she couldn’t remember what I said. The cook yelled at me saying I shouldn’t have ordered war wonton soup if I was allergic. I said I ordered plain. She argued again and said I didn’t say I had an allergy. Next time I have to tell her I have an allergy. I said I have never had a problem with the plain wonton soup so I didn’t feel a need to say no shrimp since plain wonton soup doesn’t come with shrimp. She was very clear that I was the one who had made the mistake and not them. Apparently she’s pretty nasty to people who complain. After she finished yelling at me, she hung up on me. Very disappointing as we regularly order from them and have never had an issue. I was hoping they would easily fix this but all she did was yell at me and blame me. Very frustrating as I definitely ordered a Large Plain Wonton Soup. So we paid for something I couldn’t even eat because she was too proud to admit she made a mistake and wouldn’t make it right.

Have always enjoyed their food for years but when my wife took me there for Father’s Day she wasn’t able to order off the menu ok no problem she ordered large plain wonton to go as we always have for years with no issues, drive home 20mins to find it had shrimp in it (war wonton not plain) and she’s highly allergic we call to see if we can get it replaced or a credit for next time we come and instead we get an argument of why did we order it if she can’t have it that’s what the waitress wrote down so that’s what they made after being yelled at and told come back they will replace it they just hang up and wouldn’t answer the phone again as we couldn’t get back there before closing… we have never been treated so rude by someone in the service industry… we usually eat there at least once a month looks like we will be giving our money to somewhere else from now on
Dietary restrictions: Make sure you are very strait forward about dietary restrictions because if you’re not they will yell at you that it’s your fault n

I believe that a certain someone who claimed 4 years ago about how rude the server was by telling said someone that if they didn't eat all of their food the next time they are there. That the server will charge extra, is a lie and that person is just seeking attention. I also believe such person is not from here, I have been eating from here ever since I was a kid(37 now).
