Horrible experience. Went at 9:00 am for breakfast. There was 3 tables total. Food arrived at 9:35. Ordered only 2 eggs Benedict. Benedict was cold. Ordered hashbrowns with cheese (would assume it came melted) it came out with room temperature hashbrowns sprinkled with ice cold cheese. Server never checked on the food or refilled coffee. Would not recommend at all. Unfortunate.

The potato soup is wonderful, and many delicious things are listed that I simply do not have time to enjoy.

The staff here is very nice and polite.
Food is very bland. My family had different dishes, Baked bacon Alfredo spaghetti was very bland. I had to add alot of parmesan while I was there. I brought half of it home and added more spices to make it better.
Hubby ordered chicken and ribs. He asked for Greek flavoring but again there was no flavor and the chicken was very dry and tasteless.
My Son ordered chicken fingers and poutine. He stated the gravy was not good, it was just very bland, it was part of an entree so it came with soup and a desert. The soup was amazing but the desert was not. The bread pudding was aweful. It was so dense and rubbery.
The last meal was a breakfast platter. This was good. We would recommend breakfast and soup here but nothing else.

We've been here a few times in a last few years and meals had become less appealing with every visit. Stir fry chicken was from frozen, nothing was cooked fresh, just warmed up. I go to a restaurant to spend $20- 30 for a meal and I don't expect frozen dish which cost about $4 $5 at the store, it's sad. I'll definitely skip coming back, as I don't find the food nutritious enough. One more restaurant saving from the quality of the food they serve.
And to mention the atmosphere at the restaurant, the place is outdated and needs some renovations.

Came to this worthless restaurant asked for a portion of baby food because I liked it. They said no, but we won't sell it to you because you're not a child. Service. If I could give a zero, I would, disgusting staff and disgusting rules.

Went for breakfast here a couple days ago, very disappointing. The place is dirty and dated but we were hungry. The food was okay, the coffee was decent. Our server was a very nice lady who did a good job, she was the only person on the floor and working all stations.

A very unique diner/restaurant/lounge. Loved the railroad theme. Excellent food and a super friendly waitress made for an excellent stop at the end of a long day of driving.

I am sorry but I had a steak and mashed potato with a macaroni soup to start, the only good thing about that meal was the soup fantastic as for the rest it was well cooked but just tasteless. HINT when a customer orders HP sauce for the steak not a good sign. The waitress was fantastic and the atmosphere was also fantastic.

went for a quick dinner a couple of weeks ago. Husband had a cheeseburger, I had a chicken burger. The chicken burger was just OK. Poutine is not worth the extra.

Hubbys Cheese burger came without the Cheese. when we let the server know, she brought him a cheese slice on a plate. no offer to take it back and melt the cheese onto the burger as would be normal. asked to speak to the manager, his main response was it was busy ( there were about 4 tables occupied) and that things get missed. asked for a bit of a discount and the manager said he would adjust our bill.

got the bill and manager did indeed adjust it for 2.50. yes 2 dollars and 50 cents on a fifty dollar dinner bill.

will not be back, quite frankly the discount was an insult. If they had comp'd our drink (soda pop) or halved the Cheeseburger cost would have been totally fine. was not looking for a free meal, just a reasonable resolution.

I am not lying - please look up the bill you clearly remember talking with us. 2.50 was removed from our bill. is that 20% of a cheeseburger? could be, it is still not a very good response to 2 issues with his meal. Our total bill for dinner was approx $54 after the 'discount' . If I can find my copy I will be happy to post a pic here for all to see.
