Awful management. We went with a group of 10 and after being told it would be an hour wait. We sat down. The manager who was clear that she didn’t want our business began cleaning tables instead of asking for our drink order. When asked if someone was going to be serving us, she told us we were abusing her. We left. ?? brutal.

I like the food here, nice atmosphere but every time I go it's very slow service. We were seated and then waited 15 minutes for menus. Ordered drinks..another 20 minutes. Watched our waitress chatting with people ar bar. Only 3 tables occupied, so it wasnt busy. Start to finish nearly 2 hours. Maybe some staff are on the ball, and I've just been unlucky. Asked for bill and waitress disappeared, eventually walked to the front and was helped by someone else. Three of us eating, ordered a soup an appetizer, lettuce wrap and a burger and drinks came to $107, so a little on pricey side. Food is good though, but i believe customer service training is much needed. Hope they stick around and improve.

A group of 4 of us stopped there on a hockey road trip for supper. It didn't start well from the start...our drink order was wrong (vodka mojito ordered came as rum margarita) We put our food order in as soon as we got there @ 5:30. One of the guests is gluten-free and did advise the waitress of this When ordering her "Yam & Avo Roll" indicating she needed/wanted cucumber instead of the yams. The waitress asked "is this a preference or a need?" The guest indicated a need. This was also the guests "main entrée". The waitress came by our table and we stopped her and asked for another drink....10 minutes later we stopped her again...asked her if our drinks were coming??? She said "Oh ya!" When she brought our drinks we asked if our appetizers were coming...it had been over 1/2 hour??? We had now been waiting over an hour for our main meal and asked how much longer it would be because we had to leave soon. We asked if we could have the bill and pay for it so we could save some time......WELL, the bill didn't come either...so by this time it had been almost an hour and a half. So we asked to be billed for the drinks & food that we had drank & ate because we had to leave BUT, we then received the bill, so we paid it IN FULL + TIPPED the waitress as well. Just then...the MANAGER MELISSA walked to the table with 3 plates of food. One plate was steak with a block of stiff, hard, burnt "potatoes" and 3 stalks of ice cold broccoli. We then received the 4th meal...which was wrong...it was YAM & AVO ROLL not cucumber! We asked the MANAGER MELISSA what she could do about this situation....her response "I'm not paying for your entire bill!" We explained, that's NOT what we asked!? Two people didn't even get to eat their meal because one was entirely wrong and one was burnt & cold! The other two, had to be boxed up because we had to leave. Melissa than proceeded to say "I don't like the way you are talking to me, get out of my restaurant!" By NO MEANS was she being spoken to rudely or ignorantly....Melissa just has a very bad attitude and those are not managerial skills that should be used. Kicking customer's out of the restaurant when they come to you with a problem doesn't warrant this behavior!

Nov 30 they had a dog running around in their kitchen, they served me a raw hamburger, and the service the last 3 times I've gone is absolutely horrible. Manager hung up on me when I told her my complaints after not taking it seriously. Well the health inspector is taking this extremely seriously.

Rad place, good food, and great service. If I am in Yorkton again, I will eat at Brown's.

Service is pretty bad. Kinda pricey for the meals you do get. Portions are small . Menu selections could be better. Music is way to loud to enjoy a conversation.

One of my favorite restaurants in yorkton. Yorkton has few quality dining options. The service is great and the food is usually pretty good too. My one complaint is they removed halibut from the menu and went to the typical and common sad choice of cod.

Good was average for how expensive it was. Bathrooms were not clean and the booth we sat in had a thick layer of dust on the ledge. Not in alignment with other Browns we have been to. Will try a new spot next time we drive through Yorkton.

Moved from BC to Saskatchewan and was excited a Browns was in Yorkton. My wife and I have been to this exact restaurant for 3 years now and have seen insane turnover and 3-4 managers come and go. If u go during peak hours or happy hour there seems to be less room for error but if u go on the weekend for brunch prepare for long food waits or horrible service. We have had endless weekend issues during the brunch hours and even left on our last visit when the table that came in 20 minutes after us got their food before us. I hope the owners of this establishment know that this Browns lacks good leadership that they seemed to lose during Covid and some issues just haven't improved over years of operation. I wanna be very clear....i love the location, the IPA on tap, the happy hour specials and the food but some of the mistakes, staff that doesn't care and waiting over an hour for food is unacceptable.

Decided to come and try the food at Browns. The Brunch Lumberjack Meal was filling and delicious. My presentation prejudice made me disappointed with how much hashbrowns I got but the Lumberjack itself filled me up good. The wait time felt standard and the insides looked very nice. The food is a bit expensive for casual eating but I will come back every once in awhile and try their other items. 4 / 5 ! I'll be back.
