we would never dream of being caught in this place again. we were here for a festival in town and went to this place thinking we would be getting down with some country tennessee cooking... but it was gross... i have an air fryer and Kroger brand fries at home why did i pay u to do it for me when u dont even use salt?? and u don't keep fresh lemons to serve with water. at least they still offered us bottleed lemon juice which i should have accepted because the tap water tasted stale... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Not sure how you manage to mess up grilled cheese but this place did. It’s all just bagged freezer food and microwaves here. My server didn’t ask any questions after I took one bite and asked for the check so I assume this is the norm for them. Also the place smelled like cigarettes.

Solid Southern meat + 3 like this is getting harder to find. It’s worth a stop. Best pie you’ve ever had.
Good pie!! I ate every bite or I would post pictures. County fried steak sandwich and burgers were great. Pie is still delicious!

Had an absolutely enjoyable meal at this restaurant. The food was prepared fresh and the service was amazing. Wonderful ladies work here. We will definitely go back.
Sunday Comfort at Moss’s Restaurant – Adams, Tennessee
Some meals just feel like home, and at Moss’s Restaurant in Adams, Tennessee, Sunday lunch is exactly that. Nestled inside the historic Bell School, this local favorite serves up the kind of food that makes you slow down and savor every bite.
The chicken and dressing is hands-down some of the best in Western Robertson County. It’s everything you want in a classic Southern dish—moist, flavorful dressing with just the right balance of herbs, topped with tender, juicy chicken. Every bite tastes like it came straight from a family recipe that’s been perfected over generations. Pair it with their creamy mashed potatoes, and you’ll be scraping your plate clean.
Of course, no Sunday meal is complete without sweet tea—ice-cold, perfectly sweet, and endlessly refillable. The cornbread is just the way it should be: golden, slightly crumbly, and begging to be slathered with butter.
And then, there’s the caramel pie—a rich, silky-smooth masterpiece with a flaky crust and a deep caramel flavor that lingers long after the last bite. If you don’t order a slice, you’ll regret it (and probably try to steal a bite from someone else’s plate).
Moss’s isn’t just about the food—it’s about tradition. It’s about sitting down to a meal that feels like Sunday at Grandma’s, surrounded by friendly faces and the kind of warmth that only a small-town restaurant can offer.
If you’re anywhere near Adams on a Sunday afternoon, do yourself a favor—get the chicken and dressing, sip on some sweet tea, and don’t even think about skipping dessert.

We are from SC and we LOVE Moss’s! Every time we stay in our hunting cabin in Keysburg, KY, we have to make a trip to Adams to eat there! Our favorite dessert is the Misfit pie. IYKYK! 😋 Their dinner specials are always delicious! Their sweet tea is amazing too! Very friendly staff. 🙂 Highly recommend!

Any time we start the day thinking about lunch at Moss's, my logical side says "It is 80 miles round trip".
Nearing lunchtime, my wife says, "Let's go to Moss's!" She is so much smarter than I am. Best country cooking on the planet! Pork chop? OMG! Portions are excellent. Waitress Kaylee is world class in every respect! Natural born customer service expert. Worth the trip! Very scenic drive.
