Monterrey Tacos and Beer at Waterside Marina

The small portions are very expensive. Service is good. Food is okay.

If you are close by, you HAVE to stop here. The food was amazing. Nothing we got was bad. The street corn dip was SO good. Our waitress, Matti, was the best! She made great recommendations and was super sweet! Would definitely recommend this place to everyone!!!

Absolutely awful food. Probably the worst "mexican" food in America. I know it's a marina, but this is by far the worst thing i've ever eaten on any lake i've ever traveled to. Go to Stardust, it's way better.

Excellent Tacos, Beer, and chips. It was a fun outdoor eating experience on a stormy lake day; they were able to accommodate our larger party wonderfully. Special shout out to our sweet server, Kenzie!

Would probably have been great but is only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Drove from Knoxville on a Wednesday. Hopefully they will update their hours on Google ?

We have been coming here for 3 years, since we bought our house in the area. This has become our weekly family dinner out, and they(staff)have become like family to us. The food is extraordinary, the service and staff are fantastic. When our friends and relatives come to visit, going to Monterrey’s is a given. We tried a new dessert tonight that they are considering adding to their menu. I am not a sweets eater, but I did sample a taste, at my husband and kid’s insistence. It was fantastic! Then.. I had more than one bite, lol. It is a guava infused cheesecake and absolutely divine!

This is a chicken nacho with everything. It is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I’m not sure how they cook the chicken, but they do it right! I have also had it with the hamburger option and it was very good as well, but not as good as the chicken. It was very filling 2 people can share it, and it would be a filling full snack size for both.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are always welcome here it’s a great marina and a great restaurant. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming!

Parking: They have parking and a full lower lot. If the lower lot is completely full you can park in an upper lot. Usually on the weekends when they have to open the upper lot they will have golf carts that will bring you down to the marina so you don’t have to walk at all.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have inside and outside tables that a wheelchair could pull up to. There is at least four handicap parking spaces. It is down a cat walk at a marina though, and it is pretty steep when the water is low. You would definitely need somebody to help you come down the ramp or you’d be flying in on a wing and a prayer, due to the speed you would pick up going down hill.

the food is always AMAZING and the entire staff is friendly and makes you feel like a friend! the marina is beautiful and clean and it's easily the best spot on the entire lake to eat and bring your family

We stayed at the condos there and rented a boat slip at the marina. The marina staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Great people to deal with.

Loved this place! *Excellent* food and the staff topped it off! I wish I could remember our servers name, but every restaurant needs a server like him! Can’t wait to go back!
