The servers are extremely attentive. Food if far above par. Definitely recommend the redneck surf and turf! The steak was masterfully cooked to perfection. Great for date nights and party's! If your in the area, give it a try!

Great dinner and brunch menu, I’ve been coming to this place since 2010. They have a good beer selection and I love the staff. This place is so family oriented that my wife and I have made friends with the other regulars. Brendalay feels like home, if you’re looking for something good to eat or an incredible margarita this is the place!

This place is beautiful. Inside and outside atmosphere is amazing and a great place to bring friends and family. The food was tasty and the drinks were decent. The only problem we had was with the lack of professionalism from our waitress and management. Attached are screenshots of the situation that happened when we went to this establishment and then a random review from either an employee or friend that was directed towards our negative experience. I’m not sure if this place is a cult or not but the fact that a company would remove negative posts on Facebook and then bash the customers right after is completely unethical. This whole situation could’ve been prevented if management had a better approach towards it and heard our side of the story instead of going off of lying staff members. We enjoy going out on a daily bases and shouldn’t be made fun of for doing so over a mistake by negligent staff members. Everyone has the right to express their opinions and we did so without being disruptive to other customers. The only thing we did that may have upset the staff was not leave a tip for the waitress that lied on us and didn’t instruct us on the changes to the drink menu or what was available in bottles and cans. Tips are based on how service is provided and if you’re relying solely on that, then management needs to train their staff better. This is probably the result of the poorly written 5 star review, that I took a screenshot of, that was posted shortly after the negative review was removed off Facebook. Not saying this place is terrible and no one should visit, however, proper training and professionalism needs to be addressed instead of retaliating with childish behaviors.

Since they want to delete my review on fb, I’ll put it here as well! I will start off this would have been a 5 star review but unfortunately due to events that unfolded it's a 1 star.
Yesterday was mine and a group of us first time here. We have wanted to try this establishment for awhile now. The food and drinks were so good, no complaints. The wait staff we had was quick even with the Bama VS TN game. Inside was clean. HOWEVER the female owner was very hostile. We asked for a drink menu when we sat down and was given two by two different staff members. None of the two staff members stated the prices were not accurate in the menu.
Some people at the table ordered margaritas based off the price in the menu. The shock that was had when one of the tabs was an additional 48$ for 4 drinks(12$ each)when the menu stated they were 5.50 each for a regular or 7.50 for a large. When it was brought to the manager's attention, she went to the owner. The owner was very hostile and slapping her hands together borderline yelling at the table then walked away. She even stated those menus aren't supposed to be given out since they're not accurate and if they are the staff is supposed to say the prices aren't accurate (which none of the 2 staff members did). She acted like a high school girl with an attitude. Never in any of our lives have we ever been subjected to that kind of treatment from a manager let alone an owner. We were so stunned by how we got treated.
After that, we didn't even bring up the beer mishap.
Someone at the table ordered a specific beer and was given the wrong one and it was given open. So they charged their tab for the beer that wasn't even what was wanted or
Been there many times must a new cook salmon was dry and not at all as described on the menu or what I had before. Took some out from town people was embarrassed

We found it to be a very nice building, a very nice place, and a fantastic missed opportunity. They have a decent menu, but unfortunately, whoever chooses the food that they are cooking doesn't know what quality of food should be and doesn't buy good quality food to start with. And then they follow that up with way too much salt on almost everything, and just really aren't very good at carrying through with any of it; it's really too bad. Hope they get better.
I ordered mahi mahi and it was so bland; the side dish I chose, rice pilaf, was so freaking salty. It tasted like they put the whole bag of salt in it. I tasted the French fries; holy cow, they were so salty as well. I have been there three times now. Just like baseball, you are out. Hubby and I gave them enough chances, but they blew it every time.
First time at Brendalay Grill. Very friendly staff, short time wait for food, great family atmosphere, sports playing on all TV s .
We'll be back soon.

We were excited to try the place, passed by on occasion, and noticed it's always busy. Finally came waited 30 min which is normal for a Friday night. The ambiance is nice, and the establishment is very clean. However, our server was not very friendly and rude. She never greeted us or let us know her name, just approached the table and said, "What do you want?" The food was extremely unimpressive, especially for the prices they charge. Mid would be a compliment. The spinach dip was cold, and my friends pasta pomodoro wasn't even lukewarm. If you want great food and great service, go across the street to The Kitchen Table.

Great place, a little pricey but delicious. Only negative I have is no price on the drink menu so you're basically gambling.
Vegetarian options: Alot of things require you to add meat if you want it, so a lot of the menu is vegetarian.
Parking: Not a lot of places to park. Good luck.

The establishment was beautiful and I was excited to dine here. Took about 30 minutes to get seated, which was no problem given it was Saturday night. Waitress, while pleasant, took forever to take drink orders/appetizers/meals and it took almost 2 hours start to finish for our meal. She also didn’t know what was and was not gluten free, or what the soup of the day was; she said the soup of the day is usually the same thing every day which doesn’t really mean it’s a soup of the day.
Food was mid at best. Artichoke dip was served lukewarm and contained mostly cream cheese, mozzarella sticks were not hot and clearly cooked from frozen, and meals lacked any depth or flavor. Pasta was unseasoned, fries cold and soggy, ribeye chewy, to name a few issues. For the price tag and the venue, I was expecting a more elevated dining experience, but the food is seriously lacking. If you want drinks and maybe an appetizer I think this place is good (the bar menu looked excellent), but I wouldn’t come here again for a meal. Hope they can improve their food to match the quality and care poured into the restaurant space.
Vegetarian options: Has a few vegetarian options; would not recommend for vegans.
Dietary restrictions: Waitress was not informed about allergies, and they didn’t offer an allergen menu.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is inside of regular menu, no crayons or coloring sheets provided. No problem for us but good to know for other parents.
Wheelchair accessibility: Has accessible ramp and handicapped parking in lot.
