A most delicious pitstop in Ashland City! I was looking for a cleaner lunch option and this place had healthy salads and flavorful sandwiches with quality ingredients. The focaccia was definitely made from scratch. The staff was very friendly. It’s small with just two tables out front but they have the most beautiful to go boxes I have ever seen!

I can’t stop raving about Metta Cafe! I had their chocolate chip cookie, and it was hands-down one of the best cookies I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. Perfectly baked with a gooey, melt-in-your-mouth center, every bite was packed with rich, chocolatey goodness. The balance of flavors was unreal, and you can tell they use top-quality ingredients. The cozy vibe of the cafe and the friendly staff only made the experience better. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to try more of their menu, but that cookie has set the bar high! Highly recommend Metta Cafe to anyone with a sweet tooth or just looking for a delightful treat.
I ordered the Italian sandwich and a chocolate chip cookie. I have got to say this is the best sandwich I have eaten! The care and thought that was put into every ingredient was amazing. Very clean, and super fresh. Most everything is locally sourced and some of the meats are imported from Italy. I could just eat the bread all by itself! The sandwich was so big that there was no way I could eat both halves at one time, so I basically got two meals. The chocolate chip cookie was enormous and delicious!

We took advantage of Metta Cafe’s catered options for Thanksgiving. Focaccia bread, deviled eggs and tiramisu were our selections. Also, we indulged in the cheese cake. These food items did not disappoint! The bread was warm upon pick up. Presentation on all the dishes was perfect and the quality was beyond expectation. The service was friendly and thoughtful. We highly recommend Metta Cafe.
