Riverview Restaurant & Marina

We’re camping nearby and some RV pages suggested this place. Went out on a limb and ordered shrimp in middle TN (and we’re from FL!) I had grilled and SO had fried. Both cooked perfectly and our sides were greens, fried okra and 2 upgrades of baked potato and a Caesar salad. All wonderful. Oh yeh we started with fried mushrooms and ended with key lime pie. Our server Pam was great - just the right amount of attentiveness. Well done Riverview ! We were hungry and I forgot to take pix. Trust me - alllllll good.

We had a wonderful lunch on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The staff — especially our waitress — were warm and welcoming. It was our first visit, but it certainly won’t be our last. We’ll gladly recommend this restaurant to others! Cheers!

Unfortunately, the staff seems very stressed out, which doesn't make for a very welcoming experience. The serving staff doesn't seem very organized, and the person who seemed to be in charge on the day I was there (dark, curly hair), seemed to be putting the most stress on the staff

This is a hidden gem. I hate to even leave a review because I don't want this place to change because of more customers. The fried catfish and grilled shrimp are amazing. The turnip greens and okra are perfect. The prices are decent and you can't beat the ambience; t's right in the Cumberland River.

Kitchen isn’t built for their table amount. Very normal to wait 10 minutes for menus and 40 minutes for food. Just walked out after an hour.

Great food, great service, good view all around good place to eat. I wish it was closer to where we live. It was a hidden gem on the water.

Ohhh my goodness! The food was amazing! The staff were so friendly and on point! And what a beautiful restaurant inside and out! There is so much history to the business too, such a wonderful experience! I will definitely be going back again!

The catfish was pretty good, but could've been warmer, and the white beans and fries were only a few degrees above room temp.

If the food was hot and the side item portions had been larger, this would've been a very good meal.

The only other issue is the dining chairs. the chairs were... hate to say this... they were terrible. Very uncomfortable. Too short (even for my 5'7" height), narrow, and way too laid back..almost reclinere-ish. Everyone in our group agreed it was difficult to sit up in a proper dining position.
I could come back in hopes the next meal would be hot. However, I have no desire to ever sit in one of those chairs again.

I absolutely recommend trying a salad with their ranch dressing! Delicious 🤤 I ordered the burger & it wasn’t hot when it came out but we had a big party there for my grandads birthday other than that it was an awesome experience and being on the water is always entertaining.

Our waitress was speedy and attentive! She definitely gave it her all and it really gave us a positive experience. The other servers were definitely hustling too. Food was good. The river view was great to have right outside our table window. Something about the river is mesmerizing, maybe more so for me since I'm not around water much but it's definitely a plus.

Dietary restrictions: I am sensitive to gluten so there were only a few options that might be gluten free... I had grilled chicken with Swiss and bacon with honey mustard on the side.
