Had the large sampler plate, and the ratings and reviews are well deserved, it was FANTASTIC. Had the salted caramel cheesecake for dessert and it was ridiculously good. Perfect place for BBQ. If you're in the area, stop, you won't regret it.

We found this little gem last year & look forward to coming anytime we're in Memphis. The food is always delicious, piping hot & cooked to perfection. The staff is Amazing, attentive without being intrusive. I'm sure they have their 10,000 steps for the day in by then end of the lunch shift. Don't forget to save room for the coconut cake, I promise you won't be sorry.

The food was okay. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t good. I had the smothered pork chops, Mac and cheese, and sweet potato’s along with a strawberry cake. The pork chops were basic didn’t really have a seasoning. The sweet potato’s and Mac and cheese I did love. The cake was just a standard tasing. The staff there were very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant could have used some deep cleaning. Overall loved the service though even with it being busy.

I want to start by stating I've been eating hear for years when I travel to Memphis. Fat Larry's has been my goto place for Memphis BBQ. I finally had the opportunity to bring my family. They have heard me foe years raving about the place. Let's get to it... My wife and I both ordered the meal with brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and a 1/4 chicken. Everything but the brisket were great. The brisket was the one thing I bragged about. All four pieces we received had been reheated on a briquett bbq and tasted like Matchlight fluid. All four pieces were like leather and impossible to eat. It was just next level disappointing I will of course return and give them another chance. They did remove the charge from my bill.

I got chicken nachos and was given uncooked cold chicken. Ended up getting food poisoning from it. Tried to call management a couple of times and left my name, number, and what happened. Still nothing

Some of Memphis best bbq right here! You definitely need to try Fat Larry's. I have tried most of their meats and love the brisket, pulled pork, chicken, and many sides. I highly recommend for any BBQ connoisseur or just trying the top Memphis bbq!

Ordered hamburger steak which was very good. Also ordered a fried chicken salad. Also very good with plentiful chicken on salad. Our waitress on this trip was exceptional. I'm glad we gave this restaurant another try. 👍

Have eaten at Fat Larry's several times and really do love the fried catfish. But tonight was the first time I've eaten a hamburger there. VERY DISAPPOINTED ! Meat was great - ordered medium and got what I ordered which was very delicious. But the sweet bun it was on was a big turn off . Who said a burger was better on a over the top sweet bread that absolutely ruined the flavor ? Only ate 3 bites of it before pushing it aside. I'll never order it again.
