We reminded the server but when the Cole Slaw came it had been made with milk. The reason this is so important is my husband gets extremely
sick. Just be sure if you have dietary restrictions that the staff adheres to it.

Visited Larry’s tonight after a local had recommended it. I normally don’t do this, but I can honestly say that I had the best pork chop I have ever eaten in my life. Our waitress was exceptional and we truly enjoyed our visit. If you visit Memphis, stop by this local favorite. You won’t be disappointed.

Don't let the outdated interior turn you off.. this place has excellent food. We had the brisket and a rack of ribs. Generous portions that were delicious. Brisket was tender and smoked to perfection. We tried the Muddy ribs and they were some of the best ribs we have had. The sides, greens and beans, were really good. Service was great and prices were very reasonable. Our new BBQ joint!

The atmosphere isn't high end but shouldn't be. it's a neighborhood hangout and perfect.
The waitresses were absolutely stellar - friendly, attentive and a joy to talk with. You couldn't ask for a better staff
Finally the BBQ was perfect. Just show up early and often!

Great smoke house cooking, Ribs, pulled pork and Brisket what a meal and it won’t break the bank kids loved the mac and cheese. The atmosphere make you feel as if your at you best friends house for a BBQ.

Best BBQ We've had since we moved here, and only one other place has come close.
We love Fat Larry's and will bring visiting friends/family back frequently! The BBQ actually has flavor unlike other places that lack the flavor and texture of smoked meat. The Service was good and the restaurant is perfect for a simple BBQ place, no frills but clean and orderly.
The only knock we have was the lack of BBQ Sauce options--but like I said earlier not as important with good quality BBQ meat!
Passing this up for other places is a mistake, we highly recommend.
