We travel for work & have eaten at MANY different Longhorn restaurants in several different states. Always saying "for a chain restaurant, they're very consistent with service & food". Until Sunday, checked in ahead of time with a 30min wait time, 1 hour later we we're seated. One section of the restaurant was completely empty. I know many places are currently understaffed. However, that's not an excuse for watching the bartender chat away with 4 guest at the bar & continuing to do so after our server checked on the "status of our drinks". Our server went get the manager to make our drinks & had to do so when we ordered another draft beer. No, the bar area wasn't packed, she just didn't care! Our filet was overcooked & we gave up ordering anything else. This is the WORST Longhorn restaurant we've been to & won't be back.

The food has definitely been better. My mother's steak was supposed to be medium and it was super well done. My Parmesan chicken was so salty I couldn't eat it and the wings were undercooked. It might have just been an off night. We hadn't been there in about a year. Our server was great, so we had no complaints about him.

Mahrea was the best bartender EVER! She asks to be called Rea I said which sounds perfect because she was my Ray of sunlight! My husband and I left a restaurant because of bad service and then found our “Rea”! Drinks food everything was AMAZING!!!!!! We will be back to see her! She was just the best bartender after such a horrible experience from a different restaurant!

They are definitely low on staff so if you go you better be patient. I did see some fruit flies around the bar and sitting areas but the food looked okay. My steak was cooked like I asked however not as hot. The side salad looked tasty.

I went today, 3/27/24 around 4:3pm to celebrate my mom’s 73rd birthday. My family from California came to celebrate as well, and there was a total of 7 of us, but they said they can’t serve more than 6. The hostess double-checked with the manager, and the manager said no. I’m not sure if they were discriminating or what the issue was. They weren’t friendly and why does one more person over your limit make a huge difference? My sister arrived shortly behind me and tried to see if they would seat us as well, but they refused to seat us. If you’re looking to generously give tips, DO NOT GO to this location. We went to the location on Houston Levee and had a way better experience.
