Being from California, I have high expectations. They did not disappoint. Since moving to Tennessee 6 years ago, I have not found a really great Mexican food restaurant. I have now found one. I had the Carne Asada burrito. It was delicious. They actually put enough meat in the burrito that I could taste it with every bite. The staff were great. Our server was very sweet and attentive. We'll DEFINITELY go back real soon.
My family is from southern California. So as you can imagine, we have eaten a lot of authentic Mexican food. Love the little hole in the wall places. Moved here 5 years ago and haven't found a single Mexican restaurant that we've been truly satisfied with. Until we ate here. Absolutely fantastic food!!! I had the chicken mole and a jalapeno margarita. (I think that's what it was called?) AMAZING. I cannot wait to eat there again!
I'm going to say right now for an on the fly desicion, this place is the absolute best. They have been open less than a year and have the best authentic Mexican cuisine I've tasted in Memphis. The house hot sauce is hands down my favorite on anything, it's a delicious light even taste of spice and savory flavor. The alambredinner is what I had and I wish I could try everything in their menu right now after tasting how good that dish was. If you don't come here...
