I have tried several dishes here. I will list them with below with ratings.

- Chicken Pad Krapow: I will give this an 8/10 great flavor with good texture. Some of the green beans can come out under cooked and they have a weird texture.
- Chicken Pad Thai: This is a 10/10 dish, it comes standard with thin noodles which I really prefer. This is one of my top 2 choices for this restaurant if you are new to thai food. If you like to make your nose run with spice, ask for a level 5 or higher.
- Chicken Massaman Curry: My favorite dish at this restaurant, #1 choice for those new to Thai food. Full flavor, savory and repeats really well. 10/10 choice, I personally like mine around 5-8 spice level depending on the day.
- Chicken Drunken Noodles: This dish comes with wide noodles, not my favorite but it fits really well with the basil and chili sauce its made with. 9/10 dish, it personally like level 5 spice. It provides the right amount of heat to flavor.
- Cashew Chicken: Very good introductory dish if you like nuts, comes with noodles and some standard veggies, this dish doesn't have as much flavor as Drunken Noodles or Pad Thai. 7/10 for me.

Honorable Mentions:

- Chicken Panang Curry 7/10
- Chicken Red Curry 6/10
- Pad See Ew 6/10
- Basil Fried Rice 5/10 (too sweet)

We chose Lotus Thai because of the fairly high ratings and were hoping for a solid Thai meal while in Memphis. Unfortunately, the food ended up being pretty mediocre and not very authentic.

The Pad Thai lacked flavor and had very little meat. It also came without bean sprouts, which are typically a key component and add texture and freshness to the dish. The drunken noodles were also disappointing — they didn’t use the usual wide rice noodles you’d expect, and there was barely any sauce. The meat was sliced thin but sparse, and overall the dish just didn’t have the bold, savory flavor drunken noodles are known for.

The one bright spot was the tom kha soup, which was actually quite good — creamy, balanced, and flavorful.

Service was fast, and the location is convenient in a strip mall with plenty of parking, making it easy to access. However, while the logistics were smooth, the food itself fell below expectations. If you’re looking for truly authentic Thai flavors, this may not be the place.

The food is very good. My only gripe is that the curry portion was small for the price. Other than that, it was great. Will definitely go back.

I’ve only ordered through uber eats. But this is hands down my favorite restaurant in Memphis. I live downtown and I’ll always tip the drivers a little extra for the long drive but it’s so worth it. Food arrives hot, the flavors are authentic and I sincerely wished they could open another location closer to downtown. Best Thai food in the Memphis area and my personal favorite restaurant to order from.

Disappointing. Passing through from Nashville. My first time visiting this restaurant. This was NOT Thai food in my experience. I ordered the fresh shrimp spring rolls, and the Thai basil fried rice. The fresh shrimp spring rolls had no shrimp but artificial crab meat. The Thai basil fried rice had no basil, and was a simple fried rice. For $26 bucks

We had the papaya salad, pork skewers, pad thai, kaprow, and red curry. The best thing was the skewers - excellent grilled flavor. Pad thai on a level 1 of spice was still rather spicy to me, but not to the point that it was unpleasant to eat. Portions were generous! My mom felt the food was average, but I liked it and would return again.

Upon the tenth day of the tenth moon, good sir Logan did excel, whilst fair Tonya, the finest cook, doth reign supreme. The orange chicken was pure with perfection, verily. Prithee, my companions did likewise indulge in the orange chicken, yet I must declare, oh my heavens, 'twas delectable. My paramour did partake of the Massaman curry, and by mine own theft of a morsel, it proved most exquisite. He did request warmish water, and lo, the liquid was indeed of modest warmth. I shall return hither anon.

My husband and I wanted something different for dinner. We decided to eat locally, and he selected Lotus Thai. It was our first time eating here, but we took it to go. We ordered the Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai, Drunken noodles, and the side of fried rice. We were not disappointed with the portion sizes, the flavor, and the customer service! 10/10 would recommend on how delicious this restaurant is! We will definitely be coming back to try more dishes!

The ambiance and service at the restaurant were pleasant, and we were excited to try their Thai offerings. However, we found that most of the dishes leaned a bit too sweet for our taste — even the savory items — which made it hard to enjoy the full flavor profile.

We were especially looking forward to the mango sticky rice, but it was a bit disappointing. The rice seemed undercooked and was served in a thin coconut milk, which made it feel more like a soup than the classic dessert we’re used to. It just didn’t meet expectations.
