Prices are insane for portion size. I visited twice. First time, tried the fish platter and it wasn’t seasoned well. Also had the crawfish dip that was a good portion size and great taste. My second visit I ordered the boudin balls and they were literally small hush puppy size with decent flavor. However, price for 4 small boudin balls at $11.25 is insane. To add, this is the small tray container to give an ideal size. These balls are slightly smaller than Captain D’s Hush...

My kids and I stopped here today, and it was such a treat! I can't remember our waitress name but she was so sweet and very informative if the menu. I got a cup of the chicken and sausage gumbo and it was delicious! I also ordered the fried shrimp platter with a side of catfish. I don't care for tartar or cocktail sauce, so she recommend the Cajun dipping sauce which was SOOOO good. The shrimp were seasoned to perfection, the fries were good and seasoned BUT the catfish...

Stopped at Ragin Cajun on a whim and got lunch. It was delicious! I had the lunch special 1/2 sandwich and soup, the roast beef Po boy and seafood gumbo with boudin balls and side of red beans and rice. It was definitely too much food for one person but worth it for leftovers!
One of the servers walked by and said oh is it good? I said yep! she said yeah I heard you said mmmmm when you bit into the sandwich 😂
Ashley was the bartender and server and was great!
