This is my first time trying their breakfast. OMG, it tasted like big mama food on a Saturday morning. The food was very authentic and tasty. I recommend 10 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Go support their business!!
We ordered chicken and waffles and crab cakes. The waffles were fluffy and the chicken was good and well seasoned. The only problem is the chicken wings were VERY tiny. So the potions will not get you full unless you are drinking as well. The crab cakes tasted frozen and soggy. I think they should remove them from the menu. The server was not the best. We had to keep waving her down. This place has potential but they are not there yet. I recommend using tenders or offering thighs...
I had an excellent experience at the Southern breakfast kitchen. My husband and I decided to attend their grand opening. My understanding is that they opened at the top of the year, but this event served as an opportunity to introduce this new black owned business to the Bartlett community. The location is quite convenient (by Kroger on Kirby Whitten). We had ample parking selections, and we were seated once we got in. We were greeted by every server, all seemed friendly and ready...
