“I come from the greatest food city on Earth, Chicago, IL! So, you can imagine that I have severe bias when it comes to rating a place in any other town. But... tucked away in the rolling hills of western middle Tennessee lies a place called Cowboy Steakhouse on the outskirts of the sprawling metropolis of Decaturville. This unassuming spot, in its barn type building, has a downhome look to it, you feel comfortable walking into the joint and when you are inside you are made to feel like part of the family.
The decor is mid-century plain with concrete floors and non descript everything. The food is always solid and a great value for money. Steaks are consistently prepared the way I like them and full of flavor.
I have been throughout most of the civilized world, dined at the best restaurants with incredible atmosphere and professional wait staff, but I've never felt as invited, appreciated, satiated, well taken care of and satisfied as I do each time I leave this little slice of Redneck Heaven...and speaking of slices, the baked good are absolutely world class!!!”
