I've been here twice now. The first time the food was great. Shrimp and grits were on point, service was great. The second time service was slow, the food was not as on point, and the server also trashed the restaurant no matter what table she was speaking to. As an ex server from a family run place I found it disturbing. I regret not calling the restaurant to let them know about their own employee dissing the place.
We dined there last night and the food was out quickly, correct and piping hot. We were greeted and seated very quickly. Cayla was our waitress and was absolutely phenomenal. If I’m ever in the area again and they are open for the season I will definitely eat there again. The whole staff even though small was friendly and kind.
Been a while since last visit.I can speak for myself my food was delicious but the other 3 said was par!my andouille sausage and corn and potatoes was delicious.the Cajun fish seem little under spiced and seem par boiled and the Étouffée seem more tomato juice.but all agreed corn potatoes was good.and several items we wanted wasn’t available and the staff didn’t know that!but service was awesome!lacking on good alcohol choices but we are craft beer drinkers so understand...
