They serve big portions at low prices, which is great! You might wait longer than usual for the server to take your order, though. They have a vinegar pie, which is a relic of the Great Depression. Lemons were rationed, so people would substitute a splash of vinegar to give the pie acidity. I had to try it. Not a fan, but it was a fun experience with friends all taking a bite out of it! I recommend the experience.

Inside is clean and rustic lots of signs and nick nacks. Look in the case as you walk in the door for desert options! A super friendly momma type waitress greeted us as soon as we walked in. Know that neighborhood lady that everyone calls momma? Yea, that's her! Food was amazing. I had fried chicken livers, fried taters and onions with pinto beans and corn bread, and the price was great for as much food as they put on the plate. Will Def be back for sure!!!

Stopped by on a whim passing through and was pleasantly surprised! We ordered the chicken salad sandwich and a bacon grilled cheese. Food came quickly and our server was so nice. Fries are seasoned well and boy are they delicious. We are so happy we stopped to check this place out! With the added bonus of gorgeous views, I definitely recommend checking it out! Cards are accepted here for anyone wondering.

Great food! Great service with a smile! My wife had the pancakes and they are the biggest we have ever seen, ever. Around 12” round and an inch thick. They were delicious. I had the hot bar and the salad was fresh and the homemade chicken and dumplings, soup beans, green beans, and cornbread patties were wonderful. Hole in the wall type atmosphere but don’t let that fool you. Has a great overlook of Cherokee Lake just outside for great scenic pics. A must stop if you are driving 25E between Morristown/Bean Station and Tazwell, TN.

Parking: Plenty of parking and two easy ways to enter or exit the restaurant parking lot onto 25E.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for kids and high chairs. Family friendly.
