Today was a lucky day! I was so stoked to finally catch Myrtle's OPEN sign lit up on a weekend at the end of the season.

I've read about the brie and blackberry grilled cheese and have been dreaming about it ever since.

Please note! There's a brie and blackberry jam grilled cheese (and an upgrade called the April which comes with chicken), AND a blackberry grilled cheese with goat cheese. Both are delicious, but turns out I prefer the blackberry with goat cheese since it's a little creamier and comes with whole blackberries. The only small complaint I had arose when I suddenly found my plate empty... Please, ma'am, can I have some more...?

The Reuben looked amazing, and the meatloaf was also really good. Portion sizes for those two were pretty decent!

Till next season, Myrtle's cafe!

We came down to Myrtle's from Indiana while on vacation to visit our friends in Cleveland. The food was absolutely phenomenal and the staff are so friendly! The restaurant is super cozy; I wish my entire house looked like Myrtle's ❤️ I didn't catch my waitress's name but she did an amazing job (and has the funniest stickers on her car 😂). We will make it a regular place to stop in when we are down each time!

They're not honest with their hours. I tried to eat their twice. Both times, their website said they were open, and both times, they were closed when I arrived.

My new FAV lunch spot!!!
Best Sandwiches around, and you can customize anything!
Myrtle will help craft anything you want!

My favorite thing is her incorporating goat cheese, blackberry preserves, fresh strawberries, Brie cheese… and other things you don’t normally find at local restaurants anywhere!!!!

Only open Tuesday and Wednesday currently. She caters to rafters the other days. But when rafting is over. She’s going to open more!!!

Go eat here! Your mouth will thank you… I’m California foodie and this is my new regular spot!!!

One of my favorite lunch spots. Melissa is fantastic. Happy space, place, and wonderful fresh food. I could and would eat there every day if I could.

So thankful we have this unique special gem in and part of our community. Homemade and affordable food from a great local woman owned business. You’ll love it here.

Myrtle's was a discovery. We were driving around Ocoee and googling eateries. Myrtle's came up. She was running a special that day--rosemary chicken in a salad of spinach and strawberries. As we drove, the internet ran out so we turned around and eventually found Myrtle's in a little strip of shops. Her small place was very cool and hip with lots of thought put into every detail. As we settled in, we enjoyed perusing all of the art and curios decorating the place. I had the salad, the baked potato soup (made from scratch) and unsweetened iced tea. Our server Hannah was very attentive and we got the story of Myrtle's start-up from her. As it turns out, their BIG business is catering to all of the local river businesses in the area during the summer. Some days require the making of 900 sandwiches!

Give Myrtle's a try!

Amazing experience with some very unique sandwich offerings along with some classics made with care. We stopped in during Spring Break and enjoyed the hospitality and offerings from this diverse menu. Myrtle was delightful and it was one of the highlights of our trip.
