Little local place. Breakfast was okay, nothing to write home about. Service was terrible. Took over 5 minutes to even be acknowledged. Prices were very fair.

We, my crew and I, are niche carpenters, and travel extensively throughout the South, and mid-west. We’re in a new rural town every week. We work hard to find local eateries, especially breakfast. The Country Kitchen is one of the best we’ve found in a while. The crew voted it best biscuits, and the gravy was good as well. We also got takeout pie both mornings for second breakfast. All-in-all, two thumbs up!

Just visiting this area, parking lot was packed, so we figured looks good! It was like walking back into the 1950's, and not in a good way. The food was worse. From the greyish looking salty aweful ham steak, country fried chicken and hashbrowns, everything was frozen (with the exception of the eggs and toast!). Service mediocre at best, and not so country nice. The restroom had about an inch of dust on the ledges. The place WAS packed though so maybe us out-of-towners were missing something.

I always stop at the Country Kitchen when I come in town. The food and service is always great. Great prices as well. Only complaint I have is I wish they were open past 2:00 p.m. Highly recommend.

My favorite place to go for breakfast. I don't get to go as much now but they have the best food locally. The service is great and all the workers there are so friendly.Parking: Wish someone would fix the parking for this place. Needs a new truck load of gravel to fill in some places.
