This is a cute little place that you wouldn't expect to serve breakfast but they do and their jelly is really good the only complaint I have is the table and my chair was really sticky and I had to ask for my chair to cleaned off.

It's not what it used to be. It used to be good food, good portions, and an easy staple to bring a friend for some good southern cooking.Since covid, it has not really hit back to where it once was. It is unfortunate because this place used to be a hit with the chicken and potatoes. I used to like their desserts, too, but those have also gone downhill.I did see a couple of mice. That was absolutely disgusting. I get that this is in an old building, but obviously, you're not doing something right if you're attracting vermin.Take your business elsewhere if you don't want to have to worry about cleanliness.

The epitomy of everything that is good about the South. The food, people, and atmosphere here is second to none. It really brings you back to simpler times in all the best ways.

Ate dinner here last night. It was our first time and it was great. My husband ordered the steak and I got the fried chicken. Seasoned and cooked well and very delicious. My beans were cold and the gravy didn’t deliver, but overall good experience. Waitress was pleasant and did the best she could. They were a bit busy. The atmosphere was nice and quaint. We will be going back, but I think it’ll be for breakfast next time.

Great food, great service, quaint atmosphere. Discovered this gem many years ago. Cute little restaurant in a historic building. They bring you biscuits and jam while you wait. The fried chicken is a half of a chicken fried in a black iron skillet. Everything here is great!

The waitress was very sweet. The restaurant was not busy, but I had to ask for a coffee refill. One of the creams was empty, with someone's used gum inside. My food was completely stone cold.I felt like it was very expensive. Bacon and eggs are over $10.This was a 'One and Done' for us.

This place was a disappointment. We went last night with a group of friends. I had fried chicken and it was not what I was expecting. The breast was not fully cooked. Still pink with red in the center. I've had better fried chicken elsewhere. Nothing special. The mashed potatoes were instant and cole slaw was out of a bucket. Gross !Canned green beans with little flavor and baked potatoes were all cold.My impression was very low quality food probably from Gorden Food service. The biscuits were the size of tiny cookies. Never have seen biscuits that were this shallow. No way to open to put butter on them. The Jam was merely water with pieces of fruit and sugar. Nothing special. I am sure this place is fine with local people. We will never go back. Also tried the coconut pie. It was the poorest excuse for dessert. Cool whip with dry coconut added to it. Horrible and obviously someone who has no clue about dessert making. We all agreed that the food was pure garbage.
