Cancelled our request for child coloring pages after an hour wait. But she managed to wipe the counters, empty the trash, and stand around a lot for the four other guests who were in the restaurant at the time. A coffee refill would have been nice. Food was good. Service below sub par. Since we had two children making us a total of six people they still got our mandatory “group” tip…Won’t return.Kid-friendliness: NOPE! Waitress clearly saw two children walking in behind her…said she’d be back with coloring pages after we asked for them. Never happened.

I was at restaurant on 4/7/2024. Food was good after I finally got it. The waitress was not good. She would walk past our table to talk to the guy at the next booth, stayed there for 15 minutes white we needed drink refills. I had to listen to her tell her life story on how she moved here from jersey and she didn't like her job and how that guy own offices and business's. I don't know is she was wanting a job or what. Other than that food was really good

Special Grits were awful. Looked and tasted like overly baconed mashed potatoes.
The cafe is very nice inside. I ordered to go online & planned to eat on the go. When I asked for napkins and silverware. I was told that they are out of silverware. So I have a lobster & cheese omelet with grits. But no silverware!!!! I also asked for butter & sugar for my grits. I guess they didn't have that either. The food seems like it tastes good but it will be cold once I find something to eat it with.
