Blue fin is our go to sushi place. The food is great, the place is clean and the ambiance is nice. I can sit near the bar and watch games or sit elsewhere and converse with my family.

I stopped in last minute around 5:00 this week on Monday 02/10/25. I had been water fasting all day so this would be my first real meal for the day. I asked for an order to-go. $21.45 was the total for a large egg drop soup and chicken lettuce wraps and about 10-15 minutes it was ready to go. I went home and ate the soup first right away. Towards the bottom of the container, I noticed the eggs were gray-greenish looking, as shown in the picture. I stopped eating the soup at that point and threw it away. Hours later I had three episodes of diarrhea. I am so glad I did not eat the discolored egg at the bottom. After three episodes, the diarrhea stopped.
The next day I called and spoke to a senior lady on the phone. She told me my symptoms were unrelated and that they make fresh eggs daily…. Then she told me she could not find my order. I asked for a replacement instead of refund and she told me no. I was actually more upset by her rudeness on the phone than I was the food poisoning. To say the least I will not be back due to her poor customer service. We have frequented this restaurant a lot so this dismissal by this senior lady was very disappointing.

We walked in and were immediately sat down. We got our drinks immediately then put our order in. The wait was not that long as they were semi busy. The food was fantastic! Everything was perfect, the sashimi melts in your mouth! The only issues was the lack of service. At the start of our dinner, we had another server then switched in the middle. There were no refills on our water nor check ins if we needed anything. The only time the servers came to our table was to get our order and to drop off food. After the bill came and after waiting 10 minutes, we headed to the counter for someone to check us out. I understand that it was somewhat busy but the lack of service cannot be made up by the food.

After reading reviews, we decided to give it a shot. We chose 3 different sushi rolls and they were equally delicious. When the server brought our menus, we didn't see sushi. Then she came back and left a tablet on the table, with a very extensive selection.
