I don’t typically leave reviews, but i’ve spent my whole day in the bathroom. We were craving barbecue so we decided to try this place due to the reviews. Maybe it was just the time of night we went? We walked in last night to an empty restaurant around 7:30ish (that should have been our sign) but we decided to order anyway. The food was prepared quickly, we paid, and sat down. It wasn’t terrible. My ribs tasted salty. They didn’t have ice and the sweet tea was not sweet. But the young man who prepared the food was very nice and manner-able. As a truck driver I know good food when see it. It was ok. Paid cash because I didn’t want that on my conscious. And will I eat here again? Probably not.

The ribs QUITE LITERALLY slid off the bone. I've never eaten such tender ribs before.
Only took off a star for the sides. If the mac and coleslaw were homemade, this would be a 5/5 and tie with my favorite place in KC!
