Very possibly the best Indian cuisine in the Nashville area as it compares favorably with similarly priced Indian even in NYC! Decor is clean if not a bit sterile. There is a heavy Indian presence in Cool Springs with multiple restaurants catering to Indian nationals. However many mentioned Amaravati in Brentwood as the best and we agree. Let the waiters guide you on dishes and spice level based on your preferences as they are knowledgeable.

Today, I visited Amaravati Indian restaurant for a lunch meeting, and the overall experience was truly exceptional. The ambience was pleasant and serene, creating a soothing atmosphere. I ordered the vegetarian thali, and when it arrived, my first reaction was a resounding "Wow!" due to the generous portions. The staff was friendly and provided prompt service. However, the highlight of my visit was the incredible taste of the food. It was prepared with such authenticity that it genuinely reminded me of home-cooked meals. Without a doubt, Amaravati Indian restaurant has become my go-to destination for future visits.

Update 03/01:call it jink for the lack of better terms, we went back today again, and it was heartbreaking, went there mostly for a repeat order (chicken dum biryani as well as the chicken555) and neither tasted like the last time, when asked they said it was towards closing time and we gave whatever was left. Left shocking but pretty ironical but likely not coming back.Previous visit 02/23Had goat dum biryani and chicken 555 around 30 minutes back today, I keep checking for a good biryani place and finally, I could say we got one in Nashville. definitely returning and can't recommend the chicken 555 more. Thank you for making our day.

Best South Indian restaurant in Nashville area. Love their thali and biryanis. Naan is also pretty good.
I'm so glad I found this fine establishment while I was running errands in Brentwood. The Lamb Biryani had incredible flavor and the portion was very generous. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Or when I get a craving for what I consider in my humble opinion the best Indian food around Nashville.

After temple we are searching good Indian restaurant so we seen good reviews about Amaravati.Friend’s food is fabulous & service is more than that. I am was really wondered this people are treating guest as family.Thanks for “Lalit” providing excellent service.Who are visiting Nashville must visit “ Amaravati Indian cuisine”.
