Mama D's Southern Fusion

Fried Chicken was not seasoned, Mac & cheese was overcooked and greasy, collard greens taste like Glory greens from Walmart. Don’t waste your money- how you charge $23 for a Catfish platter with 2 pieces of undercooked tilapia and watered down mashed potatoes and out of the freezer bag hush puppies.

Honestly, The guy behind the bar, the nice female server, and the young man who served our food from the kitchen, knows customer service. My actual server did not even think to greet us or check on us until it was time to pay the check. What a bummer. I split the tip between the young man who served us and our actual server. I should have given my servers portion to the young woman. Also, who serves fake mashed potatoes, instant potatoes have no nutritional value and they taste like instant potatoes.I could not indulge.

All the macs and cheese are the best hands down in the world. 42 years of trying macs and this one I could never get tired of . Went for brunch and also had a waffle sampler that sent me through sensory overload but worth it . Hands down the best restaurant around!!!!

Amazing brunch now at Mama D’s! Had the waffle sampler and the breakfast burrito. The waffle sampler was so cute and super tasty! Four different flavors and it’s great for sharing for the table also. The burrito was the best I have had- eggs were so light and fluffy. Everything was super fresh and hot. So happy to have an amazing brunch spot in Brentwood now! Live music started at 11 also. Can’t beat it!!

Food was good, waitress did a good job for her third day. I was extremely disappointed that when we first arrived the hostess who sat us down told us that it was happy hour all day Sunday and physically showed us where it said it on the menu. We took advantage of her recommendation and ordered items on the HH menu. Only to be told when we got our check that it was not valid on Sunday. Terrible experience.

Hostess gave us a happy hour menu that clearly stated Sunday all day happy hour. The man at the bar would not fix our ticket stating Sunday is beer only. When the menu clearly states otherwise. He said pickles were only M-F...but that's not what the menu states. We did not read the menu wrong, they wrote it wrong. Misleading and lying staff. Would NOT recommend

Food was very greasy and terrible… no taste. The catfish has worm like strings in it. Got the eggrolls and they were greasy and dry. Tried to tell someone but they were not interested. Two drinks (soda and iced tea), catfish dinner and two eggrolls for 56.00. Ate maybe two bites of each and left.
