An excellent place to grab a bite to eat. The cheesy skillet is amazing.

Excellent staff, amazing food, and gluten allergy / Celiac friendly. We constantly find ourselves coming back to this restaurant. Highly recommend.

I went for a casual lunch here and enjoyed it so much. The staff were incredibly helpful and they had a marked menu telling me exactly what was vegan. There was enough left over for me to have another meal later that day, and I most definitely will return.
Parking: Very small parking lot so get there early or park in the larger lot next door.

The food is always top-notch. The staff is amazing and friendly and you can tell they actually enjoy their job. My only complaint is that the place isn't bigger. Trying to get in there during lunch time is always a trick.

I have grown up in the Brentwood area and Soy Bistro has always had a special place in my heart (especially their delicious chicken teriyaki udon noodles). Although I love the food, the focus of this review is Kenji Ichikawa, the wonderful manager and owner. I interviewed Kenji for my college hospitality class and he was willing and eager to answer my questions. He provided excellent answers, gave me a tour of their facilities, and offered me a free meal and drink. Kenji has a sense of responsibility and dedication to the Brentwood community unrivaled by any local restaurant. I am so grateful for him and what he provides our community with. Thank you for all the great meals and memories!
Love it! Great place with amazing food.

My friend and I meet up in Brentwood today. She was looking on Yelp.Found you. So glad that she did. She had the Bibimbap I had the Chessy chicken. Both very good. I couldn't finish mine. The young Margee was pleasant to talk to.The hosstees was also very nice. I will be back.
Have visited on several occasions for lunch and there’s always been a devoted lunch crowd. This restaurant seems like a mainstay of the community. Every time I’ve visited the manager and server have both been exceedingly welcoming and happy to help.
Food took a bit longer than a franchise fast-casual spot but have never had any issues with my order or the quality.
Vegetarian options: There were a few options (1 or 2) that could be ordered for a vegetarian/vegan diet.
Dietary restrictions: There were a few options (1 or 2) that could be ordered for a vegetarian/vegan diet.
Parking: Open lot with a dozen spots and a nearby office parking lot adjacent to the restaurant with plenty of parking.

Teriyaki chicken is advertised as grilled but tasted steamed, and thus flavorless with the sparse sauce heaped mostly in the cabbage under the meat. It wasn't good, at all. And the person working the counter needs to focus on listening to the customer. I asked her two questions and she completely ignored both. Also saw her wipe down an outside table that diners had been at with just a dry napkin.

Great little spot with very friendly staff. The spicy pork was excellent, with what was a mild level of spice, to me.

I have been going to Soy Bistro for years, even before their Diners, Drive-in, and Dives debut. My favorite thing to get is their Bimbimbap Skillet. The crispy rice definitely adds excellent flavor and texture to the dish. The Bimbimbap comes with their beef, but you can request different meats. I have replaced the beef with Hot Chicken and Gochujang Chicken, with excellent results. My favorite is their Spicy Pork, but they only serve this on the weekends. Their tacos are excellent too.
Soy Bistro really gets busy during lunch, and you see people eating out in the parking lot. This is why I usually go for dinner.

What a great find while visiting Nashville! Hubby got the BiBimBap with egg and a side of kimchi. I got the Korean tacos with tofu. Everything was delicious!!!

We tried the chicken dumplings, hot nachos (lingering heat not a burn your mouth heat), and the taco platter. Everything was fabulous. Fantastic flavors all the way around even for those that do not want a lot of heat spice.
