My niece loves this place. I wasn't sure what vegan options would be available, but we went hoping there would be. They have knowledge about 'vegan'-izing dishes so that makes at least 4-5 regular items in the menu available. I recommend the vegan bibimap. Served in a single size cast iron skillet, it stays nice and hot while you enjoy your meal. It's a generous portion, and I couldn't finish it. My sister got hers with an egg and she couldn't finish either. So, depending on your appetite, you might want to split it and order something else on the side. They keep low sodium soy in the back, so ask for it if you prefer that. The thing that makes this place for me is the people. Lori and Saundra are super friendly and keep the place spic and span. They even keep tampons in their clean unisex bathroom for the girls and ladies. That shows great attention to detail and thoughtfulness. The place has a fun and funky vibe and includes an outdoor seating option. Would definitely visit again.

The heftiness and taste of their hot chicken tacos on romaine lettuce with their very special kimchi slaw really hit the spot. I would recommend getting the beef tacos, Korean style, on lettuceinstead of corn tortilla. It also comes with the kimchi slaw and it would be even better with the same hot sauce on this taco. I don’t personally prefer the house creamy sauce that comes on either taco. Fried rice comes in a large portion and is pretty good. Thank you to the owners and staff for my dream lunch I can’t wait to return. The hot chicken plate is also a very, very good dish!

If you're not coming for the amazing food, then you're coming for the amazing service. Lori at the front desk is so kind and makes you want to come back. The food is always amazing and comes out quickly and you feel good eating it. Truly in awe of how kind the staff, especially Lori, was. Could not recommend this place more!!
Had an extremely pleasant experience walking in during the day just to check it out - immediately I felt like this is a local watering hole - for food instead of drinks - it's small and personal. I would describe the atmosphere charming informal with a cool vibe. Brought back my family for dinner and all our dishes were outstanding - fresh, creative and satisfying. Soy Terriyaki Bistro turned us into loyal customers for life with a friendly conversation, compassion about their food and delivering a meal to our table that was simply great! Thank you!

THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD!! I got the bibimbap skillet and my friend got the cheesy skillet. Both were amazing and the crispy rice was actually one of the best things I've ever eaten. If you're in Brentwood you have to try Soy Bistro!! The employees are so friendly and the restaurant is adorable with great indoor and outdoor seating.
