the staff is wonderful here!! they do such great work and i love the food selections they have too. but the interior renovation made the atmosphere so boring which is a shame. i know we're all going for clean and minimalist now (and i do like the padded cushion options) but it used to have character and a wider variety of seating options. unfortunate.

Despite my previous positive experiences at this location, I encountered several unsatisfactory situations today. Notably, I had two instances of receiving subpar espresso, which was the most disappointing experience I have had with them after waiting in line for over 15 minutes. Upon reaching the register to place my order for a simple espresso, the staff member informed me that it would take an additional 20 minutes to prepare the drink. This unexpected delay significantly diminished my overall satisfaction, especially considering the considerable time I had spent waiting. Consequently, I will not be returning to this location in the future. **NOTE:** (The establishment requires the hiring of additional staff members. I did not observe any personnel at the register barista, who also serves as the cashier.)

I can recommend this place for brunch, but as a place to study the Wi-Fi had a lot of trouble and the staff was not initially friendly. Coffee is alright but would recommend this place for a group setting and not for focus work.

When I walked in no one was in line I walked right up to order. I ordered an iced matcha latte and it took 20 minutes. How could it take that long to make an order when there is no one in front of me.

I was told by barista she’ll be with me in a few minutes. Well this lady w/ a man behind me (man worked there) disrupted the flow. He made her a drink (free btw) versus making mine that was paid for and needing to be made after I already waited several minutes to order. Then the barista that was there originally kept stopping to help others but that wasn’t the same treatment I got when I walked up.

I had a terrible experience at Well Coffee Shop I ordered avocado toast, but they served it with black, spoiled avocado, which was unacceptable. I also specifically ordered my food and drink to have in-store, but they gave it to me as a to-go order. When I reminded them I wanted to dine in, they poured my cold coffee directly into a mug without any care. On top of all this, the staff was rude and unwelcoming. I will not be returning to this place and would not recommend it to anyone.

I can no longer recommend The Well even though I have been going here regularly for many years and conducting probably hundreds of business meetings here. I ordered a drink and asked for a different syrup in the drink. The manager said that she couldn't do that. I said you can charge me for it I just want this syrup instead of that one. She said "we have to honor the integrity of the recipe". I said, "Everyone has different tastes, wouldn't you want people to get the drink that they would enjoy and make them happy?" She said, "I'm sorry, we can't do that". I am sitting there wondering... why can't they press this pump vs. the other pump of syrup? Kindof unbelievable to me. So here I am sipping on a drink I don't even really want... because they refused to put the pump of syrup that I asked for and wanted to pay for. It was not a pleasant customer service experience and I will now use another coffee shop for all my business... there are plenty to choose from and hopefully will have better customer service.
