This has to be the worst food I’ve ever had! On our way to Knoxville, we stopped by this bistro expecting a decent meal. You’d think fish and chips would be a safe choice from a restaurant with a 4.6 rating, but it was absolutely awful. The pasta salad was a complete disaster too. Safe to say, never again.

Recently moved to Bristol from Pittsburgh. Definitely a different food game in this area compared to being near a city. We tried different local restaurants, but nothing had hit the spot yet…and then we found Bistro on 6th, simply because a competitor was closed outside of their google listed hours. We were promptly greeted by Alyssa, given an option of table or booth, and she continued to explain a little of the offerings. We had the Brussels sprouts appetizer, maybe top 3 I’ve ever had as a Slovakian. The spicy chicken and waffle was absolutely the southern dish I had been craving for the past two months. Baked Mac n cheese on the side was the perfect accompaniment. My girlfriend had the Pickle board and wedge salad. A beautiful salad, and larger than others I’ve seen elsewhere. The board had deviled eggs, cheese spread with toast, ham and pickles of course. Everything was quite simply put, delicious!! We will definitely be back…many times I’m sure! Thank you for giving us a local gem for our Date nights :)

What a true Gem. We chose the Risotto w/salmon, and Chicken marsala. We started with a Caesar and Wedge salads and ended sharing their ‘fried cheesecake’ desert. All of the food was delicious and plentiful, and the service was outstanding.
We will definitely be back.

The owner says he will make things right probably just like how he got this restaurant. He embezzled money and he kept the same menu. I was served raw chicken. He said I had to show up to get my refund and I will never be back to this establishment.

Had dinner here and the food tasted amazing, so you may be wondering why such a low score. Because everything is over priced to the point what looked to 4-6 ozs of chicken is $7.00 a simple pasta $18.00? I know food cost are high but that's crack high. I do have to praise Alyssa and really the entire FOH crew everyone provided some of the best service I've experienced and would love to return if the prices could be more reasonable

I loved this place!! First off the service was phenomenal, our server was so sweet and even the kitchen staff too. The steak was delicious— it was really thick and the cook noticed when it was too rare when I cut into it and made me a whole new one PLUS free dessert (also so so good). Would return for sure

Have eaten at the Bistro many times and usually enjoy the food; however, today was quite the exception. The food was not up to par at all! The Parmesan fries were barely cooked and the bread on both of our sandwiches was burned. We didn’t eat the fries on the plate and mentioned to the server that they were undercooked. No adjustments were made for the upcharge of the fries. I probably would not return, nor would I recommend the restaurant to all my clients and acquaintances.

My family came here and had a great time! My sister and I are vegetarians and there were several options that all sounded really good. I had the fried shroom handheld sandwich and it was amazing! Everyone really liked their food and the service was incredible. 10/10 would recommend.

Came here because the Google review was so high, but was left disappointed. Food was just OK pretty similar to what you could make in 30 minutes or less at home, But for more than $34 for two lunch sandwiches is a bit overrated.

This is a very old building maybe 1920s with the tin roof is very good shape... there parking in the back and the street in front
Handicap parking location in the back and using the back door
The food is really good and they have a large drink menu
They have very large portions and we could only eat 1/2 of our sandwiches but they made great leftovers the next day . I had the fried green tomatoes BLT and Barb the loaded grill cheese . Both sandwiches had texas toast bread but we're so big it handle it well . The fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese was very good . Service was very friendly and knew their menu and answer all our questions and never forgot us with refills . We traveled off the Highway and so happy we did .. Great job
