We had dinner before a show at The Paramount. I had the champagne pork (delish) and my husband had the steak. Both excellent! Husband can’t quit talking about how the steak is the best he’s ever had. It was charred on the outside and perfectly medium rare on the inside. Great service too.

Bistro on 6th is a locally owned, hidden gem tucked away on 6th St. The owners are great people. While I've never personally had a bad meal there, I absolutely believe they would make things right if you did. Check them out for lunch or dinner. Personal favorites include the Mediterranean Chicken Wrap, the Caesar salad add salmon, and the chicken marsala, and the crispy Brussels sprouts are legendary, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I recommend calling ahead for seating if you have a party of 6 or more as they do have limited space. It's so nice to have a go-to spot when you want consistently delicious food. Thanks, Bistro on 6th.

My wife and I were walking around Bristol during our mountain tour and luckily found this place just passing by. It’s tucked into a little side street with cool views of the old buildings. Excellent. They were able to accommodate my celiac wife with the roasted beets (there were several other options). Upscale presentation and quality for a pretty reasonable price. Food is fresh. Pleasant service willing and able to answer questions precisely and kindly. Only wish we had this place back home. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience for our first visit. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. We hate we didn't know about this place before now. Highly recommend!!!

My husband said his Marsala was some of the best chicken he’s ever had.
And I had the salmon special. It was the most perfectly cooked salmon. It just melted in my mouth. I devoured it
It was all so delicious. And our server Callie was so sweet and attentive.
Looking forward to visiting again!

Had a nice meal before a show at the Paramount nearby.

We started with the blood orange old fashioned and they were good, not sure $16 good, but good.

The pickle plate was really good. My wife has shrimp and grits and it was good. I had the steamed mussels, and while they were good, they were covered in tomatoes, which there was no mention of on the menu, the Old Bay version mentioned tomatoes, so you can imagine my surprise when the other one had them. We were able to move them to my wife’s plate. We had one other issue they solved quickly.

In general, a good place, good service and good food, just a couple of easily fixable issues.

We enjoyed our food so much!! My dad can be picky with food but he ate every bite of his steak!!! The service was great and it’s so cute/cozy inside!!! The brussel sprouts were great as well!!

One of my favorite restaurants and I’m a foodie. It’s an upscale but casual dining experience and the food is excellent. My favorites include the chicken and waffles and the chicken marsala. The brussel sprouts are also not to be missed.

This has to be the worst food I’ve ever had! On our way to Knoxville, we stopped by this bistro expecting a decent meal. You’d think fish and chips would be a safe choice from a restaurant with a 4.6 rating, but it was absolutely awful. The pasta salad was a complete disaster too. Safe to say, never again.

Recently moved to Bristol from Pittsburgh. Definitely a different food game in this area compared to being near a city. We tried different local restaurants, but nothing had hit the spot yet…and then we found Bistro on 6th, simply because a competitor was closed outside of their google listed hours. We were promptly greeted by Alyssa, given an option of table or booth, and she continued to explain a little of the offerings. We had the Brussels sprouts appetizer, maybe top 3 I’ve ever had as a Slovakian. The spicy chicken and waffle was absolutely the southern dish I had been craving for the past two months. Baked Mac n cheese on the side was the perfect accompaniment. My girlfriend had the Pickle board and wedge salad. A beautiful salad, and larger than others I’ve seen elsewhere. The board had deviled eggs, cheese spread with toast, ham and pickles of course. Everything was quite simply put, delicious!! We will definitely be back…many times I’m sure! Thank you for giving us a local gem for our Date nights :)

What a true Gem. We chose the Risotto w/salmon, and Chicken marsala. We started with a Caesar and Wedge salads and ended sharing their ‘fried cheesecake’ desert. All of the food was delicious and plentiful, and the service was outstanding.
We will definitely be back.
