Ive have the pleasure of eating here for the last 15 year. Tonight was no different. The food was phenomenal and so was the service. It’s always a pleasure talking to the owners. They are a great family are an amazing asset to this community. Unfortunately, they are closing this weekend, but I did get to experience their amazing food one last time. Our party shared some catfish and a half chicken with house made jerk seasoning as well as baked mac & cheese, barbecue baked beans, cornbread, and should be world famous collard greens! I forgot to snap a picture before I ate. I’m not huge of whole chicken, but this was fall off the bone and the flavor was out of this world. Thank you Canty Family for everything you guys have provided for the community and school system

We accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant! Our waiter was so sweet and adorable he made sure we had everything we needed! I ordered a seasonal drink it was STRONG but no complaints here! The food was phenomenal! The portions were great, the Mac and cheese was delicious, My green beans were so good I drank the juice and my chicken was fried perfectly! The owner came and chatted with us and asked about our meal. He was very polite! Nothing but praises from me and my fella! It was definitely a win for our date night! We will definitely be back! I also loved the music they were playing in the restaurant!

We had already had dinner at another restaurant BUT I wish that we had come here first. The “Soon to be world famous banana pudding” is worth it! Sorry it didn’t last for the picture! 😂😂. Seriously though, the service was THE BEST and the drinks at the bar were TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! Stop in and see Mr. Mark Canty aka Mr. Eats for the best soul food!

Traveling from Maryland to Georgia for a wedding and stopped here for dinner. The meal was perfect! We had catfish, beans, cornbread, okra and mac & cheese and all was simply perfect. Not too heavy on the breading so you could taste the food. The owner Mark was very personable and friendly. He’s also a veteran I saw as we were leaving.
We highly recommend Eatz!

Google reviews help to find this amazing eatery. The menu is perfect for reaching most anyone. When we travel we look to those local eateries. This one is worth going off the beaten path for. I had the chicken tenders and waffle. You prepare yourself for a lukewarm waffle but to my surprise it was on a hot plate and the perfect temp. The tenders were lightly breaded and made just right. My husband ordered the chicken plate with Mac n cheese and green beans. The portion was so much that it will be for dinner tonight and mine too. Lastly, my mother ordered the vegetable plate. She especially loved
the collard greens. See pics. (Side note, please don't LICK your phone) lol
The staff was friendly and the waiter was on point. Atmosphere conducive with great music & the TVs had sports highlights.

Amazing food and service. Our party had meatloaf, jerk chicken, and chicken & waffles. Everyone was amazed at the quality and taste. All our meals were absolutely delicious. I will be back every time I m in Bristol or even close by. I’d give more stars if it would let me. Go there, you won’t be disappointed!

My brother has been here 3 times and he even insisted that I come. Not even know the destination for lunch, I was in for the ride
Eats is owned by a 3rd generation restauranteur. This quaint establishment is right on the Tennessee side of the Bristol Divide. The owner, Mark even sat down and talked to us while we ate.
Great meal great experience and a wonderful atmosphere.
As a matter of fact, the one thing that my brother has to bring back to New york, per the request from his children, is the baked mac & cheese.
Highly recommend this place. ?

We had an incredible meal! The service was great, very clean facility, and most importantly the food is fantastic! Also child friendly and they provided a high chair for our 11 month old. I believe the owner came to our table and chatted with us which was very nice. I would recommend the catfish but my husband said the chicken was amazing. We will definitely be back!

Perfect! Jerk chicken fell off the bone. Catfish was the best me and my husband could say we have had ever. Light cornbread, tasty collards and mouse like banana puddin'. Elizabeth, our waitress left nothing undone.

We enjoyed large bowls of pinto bean soup, and black beans. The optional onions added a second flavor. We split a yummy blueberry topped NY cheesesteak.
Friendly service and clean
