I got the chili relleno with rice & beans. Meh. Their interpretation of chile relleno was a little shredded pork with a ton of cheese on top...? No chile whatsoever. Rice & beans were ok.
I do not normally leave reviews but felt I would be wrong if I didn't. Me and my family eat at La Carreta often. It is our go to family restaurant. We've had many great servers and the food is always so good. Food was good, service not so much. I am normally not one to complain, as I’m a current waitress myself, but I have to make this aware to some people. The waitress I had was sweet but she only took our order, took a minute to bring us our drinks, then only checked on us once after all of that.
