Great place. The owners are awesome people. Helped educated us on the process and various products they distill. Everything is awesome. Loved it. I dream about going back. They hit it out of the ball park. Such great hospitality.

A nice intimate distillery, with some tasty bourbons and we really liked the gin too! We would have picked up some more bottles, we just didn’t have room in our car. So looking forward to making cocktails from the gin, was definitely one of my favorites! And love that it’s right on the border!

This is a hidden gem! The owners were there and kindly gave us a personal tour of the distillery which included a interesting narrative of the process of distilling and the history of the area. Taste testing is available- the maple bourbon and the cinnamon maple were tasty and smooth. Of course, we purchased a couple bottles. There is also rum, and vodka available too. We will be back again!

Lost State Distilling was a great stop!! We tried several different offerings and did not know what to go home with because everything was great. Everybody there is kind and helpful, and they even offered to show us around the distillery for a little tour!

We tried to call all week long to make sure they were open, as we were coming from Western TN to finish the Whiskey tour pamphlet. The website said they were open, so we went, and they were not open! VERY FRUSTRATING! We cannot make another trip all the way across the state just for them. If they are not going to be open, they need to update their website and their voice mail!!! If I could give 0 stars I would!

My wife and I stopped in here yesterday afternoon, and what a treat. We didn't intend on buying anything, but walked out with a bottle of their 1784 White whiskey, and a bottle of the Shelby's Reserve Whiskey. Both super smooth and tasty. The owners were welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely swing by when I'm in the area and grab a refill! Thanks guys!!

We visited 5 Distilleries this week on our trip to TN and this was by far our favorite. The owner was really nice and gave us a tour and answer all our questions. Our only complaint is we couldn't decide which one to get, so we got most of them LOL!! This is one of the few vineyard, Distillery, etc that my wife and I both loved most of the drinks and we have fairly different taste. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

Go there for the rum samples and don't neglect to take a bottle home as a souvenir This is an honest family-run distillery, no gimmicks and no drama. They make bourbon, whiskey, gin and rum - and can two mixed cocktail drinks. They are winning awards for quality work - and well-deserved.

Neat place and they are on the right road. We came here last week but didn't have much time so we came back. This time we got to speak to one of the distillers and it made a difference. Their primary mash for whiskey is a wheated mash; they also have a high-rye bourbon, a Kentucky white dog, and a whiskey finished in maple syrup barrels. Then you have their vodka, gin and rum. Nothing was bad and some was really good. My favorite was their cask strength bourbon: about 120 proof and very good. With a wheated bourbon it wasn't a smashing hug and it was full of flavor.

Lost State was on our agenda for my wife and myself while we were on our East Tennessee vacation. I mainly drink whiskey. I was thankful to walk in and see all the different varieties of whiskey he had. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was more than willing to answer any questions we cam up with. and their products were very tasty. So much so that I ended up bringing two bottles home with me. I am already regretting not picking up a couple of backup bottles. I guess that just means I am going to have to come up with another excuse to make that six hour drive from home. Thanks again for all the info shared and of the great product that ya'll produce.

This place was great. Nice tour, great spirits, knowledgeable and friendly owners give the tour. Very small and personal experience. I left with a couple bottles and my buddy bought 3.
