Kay, Will and Nancy do amazing at their jobs, I absolutely love them and their service that they give us. Kay is definitely better than that guy on night shift.

I had ordered on the app. Was told I did not. Then I needed to change my drink so it was not so sweet and was argued with, which is not custom 101. And they still did not get my coffee right. I will be sticking to McDonald's to get my morning coffee.

I've been to every Starbucks in the Tri-Cities. This is the best one by far. Friendly staff, great environment, and they make your drinks perfectly; if not they'll gladly remake them for you until they're right.

Walking into Starbucks is usually a comforting experience, but my visit today was on another level entirely—and that’s thanks to the legendary trio: K, Nanny, and Emm. I don’t know what kind of star-child synergy the universe put in place when it scheduled them all on the same shift, but the energy they brought could have powered the espresso machine by themselves. This review is basically a standing ovation in written form.

From the moment I stepped in, K greeted me with the type of customer service that should be put in a museum. She didn’t just say hello—she delivered a whole warm-hearted, personality-filled vibe that made the entire store feel brighter. I watched her handle a line that would’ve broken weaker baristas, and she did it with precision and a smile that probably cured someone’s seasonal depression. She remembered multiple people’s regular orders without checking the screen*ñ—a skill that deserves its own award ceremony.

Then there’s Nanny, who was working the register like she was conducting a symphony. I swear every order flowed smoothly because of her. She’s the kind of person who makes you feel lighter just by talking to you for 30 seconds. She complimented someone’s nails, joked with a customer having a rough day, and somehow kept the line moving fast enough that nobody even had time to impatiently refresh their phones. If Starbucks is ever looking for someone to train employees worldwide, Nanny should be the candidate.

And Emm… listen. Emm is the reason your drink tastes better than usual and you don’t know why. Their bar-making talent should honestly be studied. My drink came out looking like it belonged in a commercial—foam perfect, drizzle symmetrical, temperature ideal. Emm works with this quiet focus that screams professionalism, but the moment you talk to them, they’re funny, calm, and effortlessly kind. The balance? Impeccable. You can tell they actually care about the craft and not just the job.

What stood out most was how well the three of them worked together. There was no chaos, no shouting across the café, no mixed-up orders—just pure teamwork. At one point, K handed off a drink to Emm with such smooth coordination it felt choreographed. Meanwhile, Nanny was connecting with customers like she’d known them for years, keeping the mood light and the line moving. I’ve been to many Starbucks locations, but few operate at this level of synergy.

The store itself was clean, the music was the perfect volume, and every customer left smiling—because how could you not with this trio setting the tone?

Starbucks corporate, if you’re reading this: K, Nanny, and Emm are your A-team. Protect them at all costs. Promote them. Give them their own beverage line.They made this visit unforgettable, and I’ll absolutely be back.

This was a nice Starbucks, but in particular there was an employee - Matt - who was exceptionally kind to my mom. She has ordered a drink and thought she got the large size, but it turned out to be a grande, and when Matt learned about her confusion, he made the large drink anyway!

I felt really rushed. They seemed upset that I added food to my order, sure ai said no at first but my kids changed their minds. They made me pull forward and wait for someome to bring it to me.

If I could give the service at this Starbucks, 100 stars I would! I go here every single day and I moved from Colorado so it’s not like I know anybody in this town but the employees here are the nicest group of people and it doesn’t matter what crew is on which shift when I come by, they never fail to make me feel like they actually love me! they do such a great job with any drink that I want but they know my usual order. They are exceptionally fast, even when there’s a line, you’re gonna get out of there faster than any other Starbucks I’ve ever been to, but what keeps me continuously coming back to them is their friendship and their kindness towards me even when I was a complete stranger. it makes you feel valuable and important when people goes out of their way to treat you like a friend, they always write “beautiful or gorgeous girl” on my cup. Just makes my mornings a little bit brighter! honestly, even if I moved further from this location, I would go out of my way to come back to it. Every single one of them deserves a raise. I don’t know how this location got so lucky that they hired that many amazingly kind hearted people, but I speak so highly of them and if they’re training someone new and that person accidentally makes a mistake on your drink, they will fix it right away. They take accountability and they apologize which it happens (which isn't often). How they all carry themselves in general never fails to amaze me! Love all of them so much.

This Starbucks is the friendliest around. The workers are so nice and their drinks are great too... My son and I come by a lot and they are always so kind to us. I wanted to try a new drink and Kae helped me find something that I would like based off of another drink I liked. Best people! Best drinks!

I visited the Starbucks @ the Volunteer Pkwy location today Thurs. 07.25.2025.
I want start by saying that in my opinion ever since the covid pandemic I have felt that most restaurants (but not all) have really been lacking in several key areas when it comes to the customer service. It just seems that the care, drive and in some regards the dedication to make sure a good product is presented to the customer has been lost somewhere along the line.
But, today I saw a very refreshing change in my perception of that. They were 2 employees working today @ the Volunteer Pkwy location and in the midst of them both being completely slammed with customer orders and drive thru customers they both took the time to greet me and fulfill my requests and give great recommendations on new and upcoming products. Ive never been a huge fan or patron of any Starbucks locations. But after having such great service and experience from Caleb and Kaye @ this location I will definitely be making this Starbucks a top choice on my goto lists of restaurants in the Bristol area. Thank you again so very much and keep up the excellent work!!!😁
