The food and service were both great when we came through 2 days ago. The one thing that ruined it for us was the lady wearing a grinch shirt yelling at her coworkers and being obnoxious. There were what appeared to be a couple of new employees being trained by her, and to say she was over the top was an understatement. Fussing about every little thing. I have trained several new hires in my field and if I ever treated him the way they were being treated, I hope that they would have called me out on it. No wonder there is a sign in the window for help. Our waitress was wonderful, as was the rest of the staff. The food was delicious and it was brought to us quickly.

I would love to tell you about the quality of the food here but unfortunately after sitting here with my girlfriend for nearly 30 minutes with a whopping total of 3 other tables seated, two of which already had food, literally no one took our order. No one even brought us menus. I had to get up and grab them after about 20 minutes, and even then after staring directly at the server who was running around at the grill as if the building was packed, no one came over and said a word to us. So we left and drove to Elizabethton instead. Literally the worst service I've ever seen in a restaurant, because you can't call it service of any kind.
What an absolute joke. Will never be back and will actively discourage anyone from ever visiting this location.

This is the cleanest and most well ran Waffle House I've been in and I've been all over the country. Our server Justin was great and the staff all said hello the moment we walked in. I can't emphasize how clean. Tables were cleared and cleaned the moment parties got up and the food was fast and delicious. 👌🏼🧇
