Best bbq I've had in years. Got the bbq platter, everything was just fantastic. Super tender meat that just melts in your mouth. If you're in Brownsville this is a MUST TRY.
I remember every summer as a kid coming to visit relatives in Tennessee, and we'd always always stop to get a couple pulled pork sandwiches with the coleslaw on it. Omg the best sandwiches ever!!!!!
Just a short 10 min detour off the I-40 on the way to Nashville from Memphis….but so glad we made it!Had done my research and had heard and seen lots of good things about Helen’s before my roadtrip. It did not dissapoint.Been trying a few different BBQ spots across Texas and Tennessee as part of this trip and Helen’s blew the others out the water.Had half rack of ribs and the Helen special sandwich.Absolutley stunning flavours and textures.And such a welcoming spot.Be sure...
